Grand China Buffet

I love going here. They are always so sweet & just tonight I was in their with my family & 2 kids & the 2 boys that were helping their mother out were there & played with my boys. I got to actually eat while I could hear all the children right there playing & laughing. I enjoy them all so much & apperiate all they have done everytime I go in there.

The table was sticky, the buffet was decent, not a ton of choices however. The bathroom was HORRIBLE, the stall door was almost falling off and didn't lock. The toilet had fecal matter on the top rim of the bowl. It was busy, it was a dirty mess, they did not have social distancing in place, no plastic gloves to use on the handle of the utensils, the food was mediocre at best and I would not recommend!!

The food was good, just a little bit on the hot side. Maybe adjust the burners down just a little bit under the warming pans? But other than that, wonderful! Definitely recommend this place.

It was so easy to get in and get everyone sat down drinks ordered and food in they're stomachs at a decent price. This is my kids favorite place for dinner and lunch anytime I say what do we want to eat tonight it's always the grand China buffet without any hesitation whatsoever. I sometimes have to not ask that question and take them somewhere else or it would be always the grand China buffet every single time lol and believe me when I say my kids would not mind that not onne bit Vegetarian options: They have alot of things to choose from Kid-friendliness: The staff are always so nice to us all never had a problem with anyone.they are so sweet and genuine here. Parking: Never have a problem with parking can easily get in and out. Wheelchair accessibility: Can definitely get in and out.

Only reason I give it two stars is becouse the crab ragoons where great...but they didn't have bourbon chicken...that was a disappointment, so I ordered the ho ey chicken...sorry but that's not a honey based sauce...it tasted like watered down katsup...and the chicken itself....no way that's fresh chicken...way too rubbery, same consistency as clams.

First time here. Loved it. Terrific assortment of foods...chicken, beef, shrimp, vegetables, noodles, eggrolls. Go back as much as you want. Sides were great. Dessert table...cakes, puddings, pie, ice cream. Free refills on drinks. Waitress was friendly. Prices SUPER! Two of us ate for less than $20. Wow! Will be back.

While on a motorcycle ride from our home in Flushing, Mi. we decided to stop in Alpena for lunch/dinner. My wife pointed out Grand China Buffet so I pulled in to try it. We liked it so much we planned another ride which we took yesterday and stopped there again. The food was hot and they kept the buffet well stocked. Any future rides in that direction the Grand China Buffet will be our lunch or dinner stop.

Although the food was fresh and really good. The place needs to be cleaned. The floor was nasty and a mess.

Lunch buffet very good. Very attentive and pleasant server. Great price. Will gladly make the trip over again when in the mood for Chinese food. Didnt give 5 stars, nothing is perfect but well worth a stop.

The food is always delicious but the interior of the building is just disgusting.Food: 4/5
