The cabins and campground were clean and well kept. Nice pool and lake also. Downside... owner's demeaning, aggressive and rude attitude. We traveled in a group 3 families with 2 children each. Owner aggressively knocked at our doors, did not present himself, he was screaming and threatening to evict us because he said he "SAW" us going over the speed limit of 10 km/h which is untrue. We saw multiple instances where the campground's side by side was going faster than ours. He said we ignored his employee when she tried to talk to us at the front office... we never spoke or saw his employee??? He cursed in front of the kids... our youngest child was in a total shock. We have never been in our entire lives, treated this way before. He also told us, in assumption, that he did not want us to raise chaos in his campground. We are respectful families who truly believe in respecting others and being respected in return. He clearly lacks communication skills... and probably has some trouble with his temper control. So sad... we used to love KOA, but not this one.
Great service! Bonne service! We pulled in after store hours, but had called ahead. As long as we could be there by 9 pm, they could help us. They were patient with my poor French. Okay, we spoke English. On sorry notice, we found a beautiful site for our 40 foot camper for our 5 day stay. And the amenities are wonderful: pool, playground, and activities for the family and the kids. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the pool as we were often away visiting family between 11 and 7. Most campgrounds we have stayed at have much longer hours, but no lifeguard. But, there is a small beachfront that is open. I just wished I had realized that earlier.
Clean but very small site! You feel like your too close to neighbors. Owner as a real anger management probleme, you never know when he will go off on someone! Very disturbing behavior from an adult! Have never seen anything like it! Wound not recommend.Service: 1/5
Typical KOA experience: lots of things to do, but you're on top of all your neighbours. There are also very few trees and therefore little privacy. The diving platform in the middle of the pond, however, was pretty cool as was the fact that the location is adjacent to many kilometers of trails.
Great site for kids... A mega headache for adults. Breaker kept jumping for no reason. Also, they shut off the electricity for 3 hours due to over usage because of heat wave... something is wrong with their system in my opinion.
Nice campground with pool and lake. We had problems with the electric breakers that kept shutting down and it always took more than 30 minutes for someone to come repair it.
Always clean and well maintained, friendly owners/staff and a great clubhouse with a pool table, ping pong and library. Playground and small lake to swim as well as a pool. Great place.
Nice clean and friendly! Great restaurants in near by Granby and next time I will check out the zoo!
Nice amenities, cabins could be more sound insulated
Just checking out the camping, no one seems to be friendly
