Gram's Place

We stopped in on our way to Cape Breton , We were so happy to have found this quaint family restaurant with daily soups and fresh sandwiches. The staff are super sweet and they roll out the meals like a smooth assembly line. Tomato cheddar and turkey soups were both amazing. As well grilled cheese and chicken salad were made on fresh bread. We also picked up some local jana’s meal for two of us was $30

Had the tomato cheddar soup and roll. Was so delicious. Roll homemade, coffee great. Nice place to stop for a break. Having just moved here I will put it on my favourite list.

I visit New Glasgow frequently for business and visiting Gram’s is one if the highlights of my trip. The fresh bread is ridiculously delicious. The tomato cheddar soup & sandwich is something that I desperately crave by the next time I am visiting. The warm reception from those lovely ladies when you walk in makes you feel so welcome. I look forward to those brief moments of chat. This place is legendary.nnDon’t hesitate to eat here. You will be back for more!

I started getting lunch here when it was Skoke’s, and the family continues to serve excellent soup, sandwiches, rolls and baked goods. I never leave hungry! Friendly staff, a homey atmosphere, and you always meet friends here!

Best tomato and cheddar soup EVER!!! Not expensive and absolutely delicious. People are wonderful and friendly, and it has a homey comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Thanks, Gram’s Place!
