Unchristian Christians...these people openly humiliate people who come to them for assistance at the food bank. Went with my daughter (who is not even a regular user) and was confronted by a woman who refused to give us a number (treated like cattle) Her large white unfriendly face periodically appeared at the tightly closed door. I entered and just politely informed this woman that I was just there to help my daughter by carrying a basket. She stated that there was '"only one person allowed" -my explanation fell on deaf ears. Other people were upset with one particular individual who kept saying "only one can of soup" (my daughter had only Taken one. Another said "only one apple" -well what a joke -which person in the family was to be given one apple? Was it to be sliced up? Many of the folks receiving goods that were simple donations anyway (from parishioners or whomever) were extremely upset to be degraded by the process. If you people at Grace are purportedly " Christians" I advise you to please conduct yourselves as Christ did or please get out of the food bank business. It is hard enough to need to go to a food bank without having to suffer for it...Perhaps Christ COULD do something with that apple (just like he did with loaves and fishes.
