This has been my worst experience with an online purchase I have ever made. Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to give them a chance. I don’t normally order $160 wool hunting pants so when I ordered these I was expecting good quality and fit. The quality was there but the sizing was off. I ordered size 36 and I received a size 38 labeled as 36 shown in picture. Maybe not their mistake. I contacted customer support and they said I could ship them back. Fine. I waited and they never sent a return shipping slip. Contacted them again and they said they will not pay for shipping even though the product was not as advertised. Angry, at this point I decided to pay for the shipping back which was $20. I’d rather be out $20 then have to pay for pants that I can’t wear. From when the pants were delivered back to them, to when I got my refund took a month. A unacceptable way to do business. I am very, very disappointed.
I ordered a few jackets which came quickly with very good communication from the vendor. I had to return one only because the sizing from that manufacturer was inaccurate. The other jackets fit perfectly and were of high quality. The return was processed quickly, courteously and efficiently with fantastic communication at every step of the way. I would definitely do business with Gost Workwear again and highly recommend them.
Best fitting and most practical hunting and every day cold weather pant I have ever purchased. I will definitely get a second pair for hunting only in one size up for thin long johns. The cut is perfect for active outdoor use and warmer than any synthetic garment. If you haven't tried wool you don't know what you are missing. In a modern age the fibers woven from sheep are still the gold standard in being a warm and comfortable human.
I have ordered from Gostwear several times over the past few years. The selection of product is excellent. Customer Service is very good and helpful. Shipping and handling is generally good and timely based on product availability. My experience with Gostwear has been excellent.
Picked up a Big Bill 24oz wool jacket from Gostwear in the fall. It shipped quickly to Atlantic Canada and I have had great luck with the product. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality outerwear.
I have bought some excellent warm heavy flannel shirts from this company for my husband, son and brother-in-law. Big Bill brand. They fit true to size and look good on all three. They appreciate the heavy-weight flannel in Canadian winters. Did I mention that the price was also very good compared to the other flannel shirts on the market which don’t have the heft of thes.
I have never written a review before in my life. I ordered two pairs or pants from them on October 3rd, didn't get anything after two weeks so I emailed them to ask what had happened. Apparently the colour I had ordered was out of stock and my emails had been going to their junk mail. So I changed my order to fit what they had in stock. They finally emailed me and sent the package after a month of one sided communications. They sent the package last week and my tracker says "delivered" but I have yet to receive anything. At this point I just want my money back. I have written countless emails trying to get this one pair of pants from them. I just sent another email letting them know I have yet to receive the package. I just want my money back now. I am worried that it'll take me countless more emails and time trying to get the pants/ a refund. I am done spending time trying to get these pants. Do not try and buy from them. It is frustrating. It is time consuming. It is exhausting. It is not worth it.
We like to order our overalls and coveralls from Gostwear because it's easy to find and order what we need on line. The guys find that the fit is good too. We always use regular post and our purchases arrive to the mail box in good order.
Ordered a winter jacket from them. Took a full month for them to ship the item from Quebec to my doorstep in Ontario. Called after a week to see wth was going on, had to call like 10 times just to get someone on the phone. Don't waste your time with the voice message, they don't seem to return messages. The excuse they gave for the delay was that they didn't have the item in stock and that their supplier was way behind on shipping to them... Yet they mentioned nothing of that for the item, on their website, which is VERY MISLEADING! Haven't wore the coat yet as it's not winter here in Southern Ontario as of now, but it seems fine and is as pictured.
Purchased a pair of their wool trousers. All I can say is, these are beautiful trousers! I try to wear wool during the coldest times of the year, but absolutely swear by wool for hunting. These trousers are as nice a product as you can find at any price. Hopefully, they won't raise their prices to match their competitors. These really are a bargain for what you are getting. I Can NOT recommend them enough!
