Full of amazing finds at good prices! I love that you can use the fitting room, too. I'm not sure about the St Albert Value Village, but in Nanaimo they closed them during the pandemic and never opened them again. It's the worst because I end up getting a bunch of stuff that doesn't fit well and of course they don't take returns. I also love that goodwill is actually giving back to the community, unlike for-profit VV. Definitely going to be my new go to place for shopping!
If you want to pay more than what you would in store I recommend shopping here. I asked the manager about the price and she said that was the policy then left.
Great store this is a open and airy store. What Goodwill does is great for society and this store exemplifies their message. They are doing a good thing. We shop at thrift stores often and this is one of the best out there. My wife often complains that she gets congested at these kind of stores, but that did not happen here. We both liked this store a lot. We found some great deals and each day of the week there is a discount of 50% on a different coloured price tag. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this store and we will come back again.
Supervisor was very rude and accused me of switching tags to return items. Not sure of her name but she had shortish hair with glasses. Tags were never removed and items were brought back before the 14 days originally she didn’t even bother to check the dates and just said it was over the 14 days, until I brought it to her attention. I originally purchased the items on the north-side location and brought them to return to this location as we’ve always had an amazing experience here, but unfortunately wasted my time and gas. One of the items I tried to return was a tank top for around $4 but because the north-side store marked it as a camisole she told me it wasn’t returnable. The other item was a high end sports hoodie that the north-side store marked as boutique so she said it wasn’t correct. In total the return was only for around $20.00. Location is good and other staff are friendly cashier was lovely. But if you need to do an exchange AVOID THIS LOCATION as they will just argue with you and waste your time.nnEDIT: brought my 2 items back to the north side location and they were super understanding and returned them with no issues / couldn’t see why the other store wouldn’t return them.
We gave away lots of stuff as we we’re moving out, we visited the store one day and we were amazed and how everything is placed, even clothes are sorted out by color, and the best thing is it doesn’t smell like used stuff, in fact, it smells good.nPeople always very friendly and helpful.
