Been to many gyms and this is one of the worst, especially for the price. Always busy, literally only one squat rack and two powerlifting racks. One leg press which is always taken when I need it. For the price there are infinitely better options, and cheaper options that are still much better. Hefty initiation fee which is the only reason I haven't switched yet. Overall awful and can’t wait to go back to school so I can cancel my membership and go back to a different gym.
I’ve been a member of this GoodLife since it opened, but after COVID, I found myself in a workout rut. I was stuck in the same routine, doing the same exercises, and not seeing the progress I was used to. That’s when I decided to hire a personal trainer, and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made!nnAmy has been a total game changer. She pushed me out of my comfort zone and introduced me to exercises and training techniques I never would have tried on my own. She challenges me to work harder while always ensuring my form is perfect, which has helped me avoid injuries and actually improve. It's rare to find someone who truly cares about your progress like she does.nnPersonal training can be expensive, but ultimately, the best investment you can make is in your health. If you're looking to level up your fitness journey, I highly recommend working with Amy!
Terrible Experience with GoodLife Fitness – Misleading and Unethical Sales PracticesnnI had a very disappointing experience at GoodLife Fitness earlier this year. As a first-time gym-goer, I was looking to get started with a personal trainer. During my consultation in March, the manager seemed very persuasive and talkative. He offered several plans, and I selected one based on his assurance that it was a 12-month commitment and could be cancelled anytime with certain cancellation fee.nnHowever, once I got home and reviewed the contract, I realized it was actually a 12-month plan with a 15% cancellation fee on the remaining amount. I reached out again and changed the plan to A 6 months program with $200 cancellation fees but in the contract it was written 12 months with 15% cancellation fees. In contract it was different, but it was told by that guy - he had to write 12 months in the contract just to apply the discount—but I could still cancel for $200 anytime. I made the mistake of trusting his words instead of insisting on written confirmation.nnFast forward a couple of months: I had to cancel due to personal travel plans, and now the same manager completely denied ever mentioning the $200 fee. He was cold, dismissive, and refused to accept any responsibility. When I asked him to review the CCTV footage of our initial conversation, he sarcastically told me to “call the cops.” Completely unprofessional.nnEven worse, the team at GoodLife seems totally disconnected—no one has any clue what the other is doing. The manager’s manager offered a small adjustment one complimentary session and deducting ~$200 already paid from the cancellation amount, but it still didn’t make up for the misleading behavior I experienced.nnThis felt like a scam wrapped in a sales pitch. If you’re planning to join, please read every line of the contract and do not trust verbal assurances—even if they seem friendly. Train your staff properly and focus on ethics, not just sales. Stop taking advantage of people who come in with trust and good intentions.nnUnless you are going to actually resolve customer concerns and refund fairly, please don’t reply with the usual “call us or email us” message. That’s not enough anymore.nnTrain your people well! And do check what’s going inside the gym - actual ground reality, try to take complaints of the gym members seriously. I am going to quit the gym because of such practices.nnEdited after the owner’s comment:nWhy don’t you teach your team to not give fake plans? You want to put the entire blame on the customer, instead of teaching your own team?
I had the pleasure of training with Parastoo at GoodLife, and it has been a truly transformative experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and motivating. For someone like me who never enjoyed going to the gym, I now actually look forward to my workouts because of her.nnParastoo taught me the right techniques, built a strong foundation, and helped me gain the confidence to work out effectively and safely. Her personalized approach and positive energy make every session valuable and enjoyable.nnI highly recommend Parastoo to anyone looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about your progress and makes fitness both approachable and fun.nn-Aashvi Thakrar
I started going here for personal training with Branden Farmer. Branden was a great trainer. He's knowledgable, and very open and sociable. We spoke just as much about mental health together as we did physical health. We told each other all about our journeys and battles and became good friends. Both my physical health and mental health have improved so much since I started working with Branden, I highly recommend PT with BrandennnAs far as the gym, it's always quite clean and well maintained. It's very busy during the peak hours, but since it's open 24/7 you can definitely find quiet times to go.
