I'd heard lots of good things from locals, but honestly I was disappointed. When we arrived, about 2/3rds of the menu wasn't available through lack of ingredients (broccoli, shrimp and pork were all mentioned). I may have misunderstood (the person at the desk had a thick accent) but this was possibly because these ingredients are too expensive? In any case, I was fine ordering some chicken fried rice, beef with mushrooms and an egg roll for takeaway. I specified, very clearly and several times, that there should be no sweetcorn in the food, as I have a mild allergy. Wait time was quite reasonable and pricing was about par. No complaints there at all. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn't great :( The chicken fried rice did not appear to have been fried (possibly for a few seconds at the end, maybe?). Aside from a few beansprouts scattered through, it was just flavourless chicken and boiled rice. A bit of seasoning, maybe some onions, peas, egg, diced carrot - anything like that would have improved it. The beef with mushrooms - confusing. It was loaded with broccoli (which they said they didn't have) and not that many mushrooms. Oh, and there were 10+ mini-sweetcorns right there (despite my request). :( My egg roll, you ask? It was great. Really enjoyed it. In summary, probably fine if you've never eaten Chinese food elsewhere. Not an experience I'm likely to repeat, sadly.

I have had chinese food from various places in North America and Europe and this has actually been the best I've had.

The hot soup is the best! Combo menu is tasty, quick and reasonably priced.
