Coming from Arizona, where Mexican food is abundant and delicious, I’m not really sure what I was expecting… I stopped in by myself for lunch and although there weren’t many people in, it took about 10 minutes before I was greeted and seated. Once I was sat, the seats were soaking and smelled like dirty dish water. I cleaned it up myself. The service was fine. Chips and salsa were pretty good. I ordered a taco lunch special and was very disappointed. The corn tortillas were so soggy and fell completely apart. The ground beef was unseasoned and wet. The rice and beans were ok.
Visited this place to celebrate a birthday. The staff was extremely nice and the food was also great. Their Hawaiian Fajitas are so good. I would definitely go here again.
Unfortunately for us, we had a bad experience and will never order from here again. The taco salad consisted of only shredded chicken, lettuce, and sour cream in a tortilla bowl that was soggy and greasy. The beans, tomatoes, avocado, and cheese were all missing. The texture resembled that of cat food. I was working all day and on limited time, so since it was delivered, we did not have the availability to call the restaurant, request a replacement , and wait another 40 minutes. My husband's steak burrito was lacking in flavor; you could barely taste any steak. Very disappointed and will not order from here again.
I have been ordering here for a long time , and I normally get the Nachos al Carbon and I ask for extra cheese cause they don’t really put any even though there nachos and when I called to place an order today and wanted to charged us $7 for “extra “ cheese if they would put cheese on nachos it wouldn’t be necessary to ask for extra right. However because of one complain they wanna charge you half of the nachos cost and not put cheese on NACHOS!!! So disappointed probably sticking to Elk Grove location if anything service is way better.
This is Joe S. . Came here on 2/18 at around 6:15. Have come here before and went out with wife for date night before a 7:55 movie. Placed an appetizer order of Guacamole a Beer and a coke placed our order Only The 2 Of Us and proceeded to wait an hour. No refill on my coke that was gone after 45 mins. No check in by the waiter to give us a idea of time and finally at 7:22 I said to my wife we have a movie to get to so we called Waitress who proceeded to apologize and she got our bill for the drinks and appetizer. We never got to eat but you want to charge us for apps and a drink. Used to come here often and looks like I need to find somewhere else to go from now on.
GREAT margaritas, GREAT price, GREAT food!!!! The staff are extremely kind and attentive. If you're looking for a chill atmosphere with great food, go to Good Teq's!!! This is specifically for the Glendale Heights location as we have not been to any of the others.Food: 5/5
We stopped here for a late lunch without the kiddos. Food was great. Chorizo, Carnitas were amazing. Tamales are good as well. Will bring the kids next time, when we are back in the area. Loved all the painted chairs too!

Don't sleep on this place. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. A good vibe, good food, and of course good tequilas! We had the quesasilla fajita and got queso for the chips. I love that they have free chips and salsa unlike other places around here and they even brought us a free cup of soup. The servers were friendly and fast. They have a few large screen televisions so you can also catch a game. Definitely going back.
The owner has lost his mind charging. $20 dollars for 3 tacos ,rice and beans and the meat was super dry very nasty ppl taking hard earned ppls money for his own greed people I know tacos are good but 20 dollars for 1 meal for 1 person ontop of inflation not including the gas to get there and drive home I hope more people use common sense he will end up out of business like every restaurant at this location I believe because taking advantage of people will not lead to good things
