Good Shepherd medical equipment

There's a reason Umatilla County residents call this hospital 'Death Shepherd' and get their medical treatments in Pendleton, Tri-Cities and Walla Walla. This place is a joke, the doctors are inept liars and their record keeping is abysmal. If you value your health, stay as far away as humanly possible!

I don't know HOW MANY hospitals & doctors I went to & FINALLY ended up at Good Shepherd ER on 5/13 & the doctor actually figured it out! I was so sick...they saved my life, literally! I can't say enough...the doctors, nurses, EVERYONE at this hospital are so professional (yet personable & friendly, too) & it is obvious that the doctors & nurses TRULY care! They not only saved my life, but my sanity as well!!!! Good Shepherd has a patient education center, & Amanda (with this department) called me & explained the issue with my insurance, which I never would've understood & was so upset about! She listened to the long & involved issues I have had with my insurance & actually empathized & understood!!! She came in the room & called the insurance company with me & helped me to get assigned to a PCP which was nothing less than AMAZING, because I had been trying to get a PCP for YEARS!!! The doctors even helped to get the antibiotics I needed & the hospital provided it at NO COST rather than see me go through more hassles with insurance, also, I may have died if I had to stop & re-start it! I have been treated so poorly when I've had to got to the ER in Portland. I was expecting the same bad treatment & was so relieved when it was the opposite of what I expected! The doctors & nurses went above & beyond to help me & I can't say enough how thankful I am!!! It is so nice to know that there are doctors & nurses who TRULY care & I can honestly say this hospital is exceptional & does truly care!!!

We've been in for ER care as well as surgeries. We've always had great care in both regards. ER doc took our sons asthma very serious and took excellent care of him. Dr. Crum replaced my husband's hip and the care he received in comparison to Lourdes was AMAZING! Nurses seem relaxed and attentive also they LISTEN which is nice.
