It is a beautiful four story brick building built in the thirties or forties to house wayward women. Great place for families to find solace and a truly wholesome experience.
The Chapel Performance Space at the top floor of the Good Shepard Center hosts a music series of new and alternative live music. The space here is truly magical and is there just for listening purposes. Rare and such a gem for the alternative and Seattle avant garde music scene. Highly recommended.
The gardens in back are fantastic. I'm usually here for shows upstairs in the Chapel Performance Space. It's a beautiful space which is available to all musicians and other performers. This means you get to witness a lot of thought provoking stuff which might have a hard time finding a home elsewhere in the city.
Absolutely beautiful. Loved the gardens, architecture and history of the place. I didn't go inside but I knew lots of people who've worked there and it generally has a nice vibe to it.
Heard the music of Sean Osborn part of his Orca Chamber Series. Delightful music played be a trio of superb musicians. What a treat! Five star music in a. Four star space. Chairs a bit hard for these bones. The piano and acoustics , though, were excellent.
