After a not-so-great experience at another Halifax brewery, Good Robot Brewing Co. completely turned our day around. We had an awesome time here!nnOur bartender—we believe her name was Jasmine—was an absolute gem. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. Her welcoming energy really added to the experience.nnNow let’s talk beer—it’s fantastic. I’m still thinking about the Diablo Mexican Lager—truly unique, with an unmistakable jalapeño flavour that brings all the depth without the heat. It’s bold yet surprisingly refreshing, and I couldn’t stop imagining how perfect it would be with a plate of nachos.nnWe also really enjoyed the Czech Lager, the Thembot Sour Ale, and the Ghostface Killah Sour Wheat Ale—all distinct, creative, and seriously well-crafted.nnIf you’re doing a brewery tour in Halifax, Good Robot needs to be on your list. Great beer, great staff, great atmosphere—what more could you want?
We're so happy to have a local taproom with delicious draft beer options in elmsdale. The outdoor atmosphere is nice and chill, with music playing and birds chirping. The umbrellas were enough to shield us in light rain. On sunny days, they have corn hole and connect four for kids and adults alike! Today, a local food truck was on site, and I hope they can do that often as it's nice to have food choices. I had the curly amber ale and it was delicious. Staff were super friendly and lovely! There is a portable toilet on site and lots of parking.
We were on holiday in the area and stopped in one weekday afternoon. They had just opened this was late Aug 2022 and it was naturally not too busy. The staff were great and took a lot of interest in chatting with us about the new site and all their plans for the space. I had my 5yo there and he appreciated the Connect4 tabletop game and the Moon Mist carbonated water. I asked if they had vinyl stickers and they hadn't even entered them into the system yet but gave us a few anyway. Beer was good, too.
Beer is good! Multiple flavors and brews on tap.nOutdoor seating! No in house food service but food trucks do come to this location!
The staff is very friendly and the beers are awesome as always ! Great place and great food trucks available
