3.5 have been here twice now and had two very different experiences. The service is great and the people who work there are lovely so it’s possible we ordered poorly. Had the burrito and the sesame noodle salad - both were honestly just okay. They have a great selection of organic groceries for purchase and beautiful gifts and local goods as well. Nice environment for a quick, healthy lunch.
Great spot for healthy and delicious eats! Really appreciated that they had gluten free options for their breakfast burritos and wraps. Vegan friendly! Lattes were great and cups were compostable.
Lots of healthy, vegan and vegetarian options. Small grocery inside as well with high end sustainable, local and natural products. The golden milk latte was amazing! Florentine wrap also delicious.
Healthy and tasty food. Friendly staff. Easy 5 stars. I recommend the breakfast sandwich and golden tea. No AC though, so gets hot on summer days. Parking: Parking lot
We stopped here as a family with our newborn and toddler. There is a takeout counter for ordering food and we ordered a salad, a bibimbap bowl, and a grilled cheese sandwich for my son along with a dragonfruit smoothie. Everything was made gluten-free which was important to us. We waited less than 10 minutes for our food and it was all pretty good. Note that it does look like everything here is vegetarian primarily vegan. We were able to add a fried egg to our bibimbap bowl, but otherwise, there were no options for meat and everything is generally made with vegan butter or plant based substitutes. We just needed a gluten-free spot for my husband who is a celiac and stumbled upon this place. It did get pretty busy by the time we left - around 1pm on a long weekend Monday. There are a few picnic tables for outdoor dining no dine-in options and they are first come, first serve. We were able to eat at a nice picnic table situated on the dock by the water. The entire place is also very eco-friendly using only biodegradable take-out containers and cutlery. Inside the store, they have a nice selection of eco-friendly products, vegan foods, paleo and gluten-free snacks, a tiny selection of fresh produce, and fermented foods along with pastured eggs. Definitely a nice little shop for some hard-to-find items. It was also spacious enough for a stroller to enter the store comfortably.
My partner and I had Good Place cater our 'getting ready' food for the morning of our wedding. We worked with Trish and were incredibly impressed by the food + service. We also had a few dietary concerns and they were able to make amazing substitutes that didn't compromise on the flavour at all. Highly recommend if you're looking for a feel good, healthy spot :
Great place to grocery shop & get lunch. Lots of ethical & sustainable products. Food is excellent, especially if you are looking for some healthy or vegan options. Caesar salad was particularly good!
We love the fabulous offerings from Good place. We actually travel up from Osgoode to buy lunch and picnic on Wellington beach for quick day trips Delicious vegan options, great service and a truly Good Place!
Stopped in here for the first time on my way home today. Absolutely AWESOME Santa Fe taquitos! Literally cannot wait to have that again. Excellent flat white and was really happy to see they use compostable lids on their coffee. Will be back soon! Thanks so much!
Terrific little cafe in Wellington. I stopped here for lunch when I was in town for a work assignment. Food was great, very tasty and healthy. Will definitely return!
