We placed a last minute takeout order from Good Fortune Restaurant during our stay in Sidney. We ordered Egg Rolls, Imperial Jumbo Prawns, Salt & Pepper Squid, Tangerine Orange Scallops and Pork Fried Rice. Overall, the food was very tasty and the portions reasonable. The restaurant was just a few blocks away from our hotel so we walked back and forth. The hostess was very friendly and our order was ready to pickup right on time.
Love the new renovation. The food tastes better, not in a styfoam box. Always love the food here. The 9 of us had an amazing meal. Wheelchair accessibility: Clean the renovation took in to account disabled customers. Large front door and room around the tables. Thank you.
The deep fried prawns still had the poo line in them and the batter was doughy. The spring rolls were super greasy and the insides of them were old and mush. Blah. I'm pretty sure the noodles and rice were just leftovers. Super gross. And no fortune cookies.Food: 1/5
This Chinese Restaurant just reopened after a new renovations! And the place looked great! My Italian friend took me out for dinner one night and I also heard good recommendation from my next door neighbor as well! So I thought would be a good night to check it out myself and I was very happy with the great service and delicious food there ! Only thing that was the hot pot eggplant dish I ordered was not available due to the busyness of that night ! Sure we all have to go back again soon! Highly recommended!
Tasty food and prompt service. They were busy when we arrived but managed to get a table and the food came quickly and our server was very sweet. Seems to quiet down after the early dinner rush.

The pick-up order was ready at the time given. I was greeted by a very friendly woman who was able to answer all my questions. The food was hot and very good when I got it home
Come all the way from Esquimalt just to enjoy best chinese food on the island. Always a bit afraid they will change cooks. Always hot always delicious will keep coming back as long thIngs never change.
Very clean and great decor. Even better food and service. I've been here 6 times so far in 2022 and never disappointed. Their house chow mein and ginger beef are awesome. Great place for family dinners or whatever you want. More visits in 2023 and I can say that it's consistently tops for food, service and atmosphere.
no complaints, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, you could ask them about anything on the menu. we arrived near closing time and they were patient and amicable. food was delicious, the atmosphere and decor is peaceful and soothing. also fishe. Vegetarian options: they had a special list of vegetarian options Parking: parking out front for patrons only, around 15 or so parking spots
