Well stocked with natural foodstuffs from all over the world here. They have real ginger beer imported from New York and Mint Chocolate Coconut bliss ice cream that tastes super good, in fact, it's so creamy you don't notice it's missing dairy. They also have frozen Ezekiel bread. It's kind of like a Planet Organic in Calgary, only a smaller scale Fernie version. They also have German vitamins.
I do buy quite a lot of crystals and I do like this store the only problem is with the staff. They can be rude at times. Just need a little better social skills is all!
I would never step foot in this store again. The guy was over me and my husband's shoulder the entire time. Anything we slightly touched he would abruptly interject. There are crystals laying out, not in a case, and with no sign. My husband touched one and he actually got out behind the counter to scold him like a child. We immediately left. To the guy working there - it's a store!! You come there to shop and buy things. I've never felt so uncomfortable.
Beautiful store, but terrible customer service. My friend loves crystals and asked to have a look at some in a locked cabinet. When she asked for a second look, at another crystal, the man scolded “but that’s the one you pointed at”. When walking back to the cabinet to show him again, my friend accidentally bumped into a cabinet in the middle of the room. He raced straight there to ensure nothing was broken and glared at her. Ruining her confidence and putting a terrible vibe in the air. My friend and I had been so excited to visit and both left feeling frustrated and unwelcome.
The shop owner is super helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the brands of protein powder he holds in store. He seemed like a well-travelled guy and I had a good chat with him as he told me a few things about India. I was actually surprised by the weird reviews on here, I could tell the owner truly cares about his customers.
The man working there needs a major reality check. Extremely unfriendly, interjects on everything you walk around looking at. Follows over your shoulder and interjects even if you point st something. I had a $15 crystal in my hand, chatting with my boyfriend about where we could put it in our home. The man working there came over to me and said if I was going to buy something that I was more than welcome to pick up the stones and have a closer look at them but if I was just browsing, could I please refrain from touching anything. He opens a store, on a road that is prodominantly full of tourists, yet discourages browsing. We left immediately and he lost business. For an establishment that sells calming and healing elements, it's ironically a cold, stressful atmosphere. No idea how this guys stays in business.
Don’t touch anything in the store unless you want to get screamed at and insulated by the wacky owner. Despite his small stature he has a large ego which is surprising considering the ugly hats he chooses to wear.
Love this shop! Super friendly staff with great advice. The dog is great as well! I brought my baby with me in her stroller and not a issue at all.
What a truly amazing shop for the Fernie community. The staff go out of their way to accommodate and help each and every customer meet their health needs. The crystal selection is extraordinary . This store ROCKS!
This store makes you feel bad when you enter it. The energy there is very very low. The prices are higher than any other place except Nutters in Cranbrook. If you spend your money there you will be very disappointed.
