Love this place. Dine in or take out. Inside and outside seating. My favorites include cashew chicken salad, cookies and go green lemonade enjoy! This location has great employees as well.
My server was a sweetheart. I went during the lunch hour, usually busy during this time. I noticed how busy she was running around doing her best to cater to everyone's needs. She forgot to add an item to my bill but I made sure she added it on. The combo lunch meal was tasty and reasonably priced.Food: 5/5
Great options for various dietary restrictions vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and nut allergies. The menus isn’t overwhelming and the ingredients look and taste fresh. Highly recommend trying Good Earth out for brunch.
The absolute best dining experience in the cities. Excellent food beautifully paired and presented. We usually choose Alma for major celebrations. The cafe for more casual outings or pick up. This is the first time we did the wine pairings with the fixed price menu selections. Nice job! Alma has changed their approach. Used to be choices were made within the categories starter, main etc. Now you get everything on the menu for a smaller yet adequate serving. Great idea! Features: Masking optional
This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were disappointed with our selections which included the Winter Grain Bowl with Grilled Chicken $19.00 and the Cashew Chicken Melt $14.50. The Chicken Melt had a few cashews sprinkled on top, and we were not sure if there were any in the chicken salad. The chicken in the Grain Bowl did not meet my expectation of what grilled chicken should be and did not have much flavor.
Enjoyed lunch with son and grandson. We sat at a table in the middle. I would prefer a booth; I have trouble hearing. Had a veggie burger-- checked nutrition later, good numbers. My son had a salad-- avocados, Yummy!! Grandson had a slice of Turkey meatloaf, which we all tested-- it was good! Nice herbal tea in a teapot. Huge slice of carrot cake-- enough for three-- I had some for dessert the next day!! Nice ginger/molasses cookie-- I had leftovers from that, also. Grandson is 2 and a half. He sat in a high chair. They gave him paper and crayons, so kids friendly. A tour bus stopped there, and those people also liked the food. There was enough room for the tour people and the regular customers. Also was enough wait staff.
Our first time here. We came for lunch. I liked the variety of the menu. Lots of good healthy choices. Service was a bit slow but not bad. My fiancé got the Thai Chicken wrap which was amazing. I got one of the seasonal specials. Not bad but the salad came out with my meal instead of before and the small dessert was cold to the point the frosting was hard to eat. We both opted for a drink with our meals. Beer and a strawberry spritzer, the strawberry spritzer was terrible! I don’t know if it was made wrong or if that’s the way it was supposed to be served, either way I won’t be getting that again! Overall, not a bad place. Loved the ambiance and most of the selections were good. The staff were friendly and the place was clean.
First time there. The food was great chicken cashew salad. The service was okay - it was busy and we didn’t feel particularly welcomed. The atmosphere was okay - it feels like an ordinary family restaurant from the 90’s. Those are important as a dining establishment and are part of the experience we are paying for.
Good Earth good food good spice tea good service good atmosphere good desserts Just a plain good experience.
I really like this place. It's a healthy place with really good ingredients, and it's not stuffy or full of itself. The staff are down to earth pun intended and very helpful. I've visited quite a few times, and this is the first that I've received a less than par dish. I ordered the roasted beet salad and the beets were a bit woody. Granted, it's February in MN so it's hard to find tender beets to roast. But I was bummed. And the blood oranges had some pretty tough skins that I had to disect. Still the dressing and mixed greens were spectacular.
