Always a great place to BBQ and get together with the family but keep your children in sight because drivers don't know speed limit there Playground: Kids love it Restrooms: Clean most of time until but not at the busiest times Dog-friendliness: Lots of room for pets to run and play Picnic area: There just one area where there is a grill and picnic table so if you want it first be an early bird or send someone to hold it.
A very excellent place for children to play. there is a large grass field to run, play soccer, etc. the side carts also pass. It is a very good flirt, very quiet, the friendly people. and most importantly it has a safe crossing for pedestrians. Also a voleibol very good place. excellent.
Gonyea Park is close to out home so it's easy to walk to & enjoy the park amenities. They have restrooms on site but they are not always open. They are very dog friendly w/ offering poop bags & garbage metal cans attached to the post holding the plastic bags. A playground area & baseball fields. Plenty of room for many different groups/families to enjoy.
We had my friends memorial here and I was fairly surprised how large it was we did find some grassy area that was shaded so that was nice they had restrooms available
Nice park for a family get out and get some fresh air. Basketball courts and 2 wide fields for any sports. This is the park I usually go to for a family get together. Grill some barbeque and play volleyball. It gets crowded during summertime. Keep a good eye out for your kids because the road is danger close. 4 stars because only one public restroom and its a long walk. Be safe and have fun.
The park is very clean for the kids to. Play on the slide and swings. But the bathrooms needs to be kept clean, they were very dirty , and no toilet paper. Playground: Very clean . Been going there for years. For the most part its pretty well kept and a nice place for BBQ and kids to burn some energy. Parking is limited and homes surrounding have to deal with this in our summers but at the end of the day. You bought a house near a park. John Klimek Gates high-school teacher back in 90s and early 2000 used to take for welness class. Always was good time for burning a bowl before heading back and dealing with last hour of school
It's is a great place to go chill. Inn or out of the car. Kids can run for days and play ball. If you have a pet be kind and bring poo bags to clean up after them. Closes at dusk opens at dawn.
Nice park. Lots of space. Could use more and bigger swings.
