Ordered some bbts on door dash and picked up. It was ready when we arrived. Place is nice and spacious, drinks were good, pearls were chewy but they still use plastic straws..I should've brought my own :/
Excellent service. Very friendly cashier. Brown sugar milk tea was not as good as Xing fu tang, but everything else was excellent!
Placed in a perfect location just opposite Renfrew skytrain station, a must-try Bubble Tea joint. I never knew about their heritage from Taiwan itself and their huge global footprint. Menu is vast and tasty. However, they do not offer any plant-based milk and the powder is dairy which is a let down. Therefore, went for a Strawberry Honey Green Tea which was surprisingly very tasty and refreshing on a warm day! The joint itself is a large location with outdoor seating, clean, modern and good COVID protocols. The staff were friendly and helped me make a great selection with their recommendations.
I love milktea here in Gongcha. Never disappoint. Their bubble waffle is freshly made and taste so delicious. Me and my friends likes to be here if we crave bubble teas. I found about Gong Cha opening at Renfrew from Nativ Media. I was so stoked. I didn't come to the grand opening because I knew it was going to be packed. I came here to redeem a five star coupon. My eye widened at the beautiful renovation with the rays of sun illuminating the entire marble room. But when I went to order, I was pretty annoyed. The staff didn't seem to care. They didn't even have the five star coupon that I received by text. I came all the way here from Coquitlam for nothing. The price is ridiculously expensive too. I ordered a medium and the price was a whopping $7!! I can order a meal with seven dollars. This is outrageous. I ain't coming back to this overpriced sugar water selling place. At least Taiwan has affordable prices. I guess not here. I guess they are here not for our benefit but for their own. They just want to gain profit from the schools nearby like La Salle College.
They took wrong order. For both of the drink I clearly mentioned to put 50% sugar, 50% ice but instead of getting that we got 70% ice. Also, I ordered an early grey milk tea but they gave me milk tea with pearls which is not even that good to drink. Thanks. Not really satisfied.
Fresh bubble waffles are made to order and are delicious hot off the iron. The original flavour is my favourite. There are many bubble tea flavour options. I usually get reduced sugar as it can get quite sweet. There are daily featured drink specials as well as a promotion for a specific drink flavour and waffle pairing. Seating area is comfortable when it is not too crowded. Limited free street parking available in front of the store.
Ordered a pearl brown sugar milk tea with coconut jelly but they didn’t put the pearls in. So I basically got scammed cuz it was still an $8 drink.
Really nice location, the tea is excellent and employees are so friendly. However sometimes it's a bit crowded so you'll have to wait for 5 minutes for your drink. 10/10 will come back again.
