Absolutely the BEST swim facility ever! The owners are incredible, and the staff are awesome. We have a special needs son and they have been very welcoming and extremely accommodating from day one! They aim to include everyone, and make their customers feel like family. The facility is fantastic, clean, and the pool is nice and warm. I would give them a 10+ review if I could. Thank you for your amazing service and offering to our Oakville community.
Facilities are clean and staff are always friendly. Most importantly, Goldfish has the best swim curriculum for young kids. We have 3 small swimmers, life happens, but lessons are consistent even when instructors change. Staff has always been accommodating when lessons need to be rescheduled and have gone above and beyond to work with our schedule.
My daughters age 5 and 4 have had more improvement with their swimming here than any other facility that we have been to. The girls' love their coaches Eyad and Tyson and look forward to classes every week. They are the most comfortable in the water that I have ever seen. I love that this school focuses on trying to move them forward, I find other swim schools have kept them behind. It's very clean and all staff are incredibly friendly and encouraging. I love that you get to view their progress online and the girls can see the stars that they earn. I also love that if you need to miss a class they will provide make up classes at no extra charge. We drive from Milton because it is that worth it. I would recommend this swim school to everyone I know. Thank you!
We’ve read so many good reviews, that’s why we picked goldfish. But experience isn’t that great. We are in the baby class for 2 months. Not much interactions with the instructors, no tips or recommendations, all classes are the same. No progress with my baby despite paying premium. Could have just paid way way way less to play in communicate center leisure pool. To be fair, Maybe all swimming schools are the same, maybe each baby is different. But it’s definitely not the right choice for us, particularly on the price/quality ratio.
I’m really happy with the staff and instructors at the goldfish swim school in Oakville. We have been taking both of our kids 5 and 7 now here for a year and we are seeing major improvements in their swimming skills. The instructors are focused on kids and the class sizes are pretty good. In most cases it is 1 to 2 or 1 to 4 ratio. They are also pretty efficient in their planning and sharing information and announcement.
If I could evaluate the awesome team there separately from the facility, i'd give the staff 5 starts and the way the place is organized - 2 stars. Very helpful and attentive personnel, they care for your experience from get go and listen. The facility itself is crowded, loud, no social distancing is possible. I have a baby under 1 year old and it seems tiny clients are not much in focus: no dedicated stroller parking space, the change rooms are tiny and there is no space where I could safely put an infant car seat or securely change my baby without her rolling over on the floor. My husband was supposed to drop us off and be at work, but ended up staying, as you do need a second parent to safely change your baby. There is a big family room, I saw only one, but no change table here or any place to sit down and nurse your baby if needed. Yes, there are change tables in the washroom, but I'd feel very bad taking up 10-15 minutes there to change into swimming diapers and potentially nurse while standing up, with washrooms being even more limited than changerooms. Yes, the facility is great for 12 months+, but unequipped for the early starters 4 months+. We were lucky to show up together with my husband and we came by car, but for a single parent who'd come by foot with a bigger stroller, I can't even imagine. Overall, I asked the team there for guidance and shared some suggestions, which they were attentive to. Let's see if the situation will improve in the future.
Love the place. The teachers are all friendly, front staff nice. Place is clean. My kid loves coming here to learn. Family swim days a re fun if you can sign up fast enough.
Have loved our goldfish experience so far! My 2.5 year old has learned so much in the mini 3 class. I love that he is able to do his lessons without a parent especially as I have a younger child who needs to be watched during his lesson. Instructors are great and the facility is perfect for lessons!
my daughter joined a month ago and is swimming so good now. I'm very impressed with her progress and the ratio of students to teachers.
An awesome awesome school. Daughter is learning and making good progress . Specifically for today: we moved up a level and forgot the new time was half hour earlier then previous. Without hesitation the lovely receptionist helped us find a lane. Her positive attitude made a big difference to our day. A+ for entire team!
