I visited Golden Spoon two times. The food and service was exceptional. My favorite items were shrimp tempura, Gyoza, spring roll, salt and pepper squid, seaweed salad, all the sashimi, spicy chop chop, kamikaze salmon sushi roll, and the ice creams mango and green tea. I think the people that gave negative reviews did not order the right items because I did not like all the food. For example, I personally think that the green salad had way too much sauce and I found the salt&pepper shrimp a bit bland.
I've only dined here 3 times and have been very impressed with the quality of the food. Excellent sushi and non-greasy Chinese food. The variety is amazing. The chef s also try to be creative with dishes. The bubble tea initially wasn't great but the last time I tried it was surprised how perfectly chewy the sago balls were. Service is fast, friendly and they have been very accommodating with my kids. My family loves it here.
The food is absolutely AMAZING here. All the stuff that they put in the sushi is fresh and is the best sushi in the world. Top tier chefs and the menu is absolutely amazing since they show pictures of the sushi. The names are super creative! 10/10 would recommend.
Very dissapounted with the food. Everything fried rice had 0 flavor and seemed to be plain white rice with little mixed in. Sushi price is competed unjustified by the price. Singapore rice noodles were thankfully delicious so we were left completed unsatisfied for dinner. Will not be dining again.
I went to this local new resto Golden Spoon twice for lunch and supper with friends but I did not see any difference. Food being served is not as appetizing because; Hot Food is just barely warm when you order hot food. Food presentation is not appealing so as the taste is not great and price of the food is not worth paying for. Imagine the small piece negiri-tempura size as my thumb can cost you between $2.50-3.50 for one piece. I thought it was special but it is not. The taste is not great if you compare it with other Asian resto in town. It just frustrating to come back again and not worth fulfilling when you eat in this restaurant. I would not recommend to others. Sorry, but That's the truth!
Fantastic food, and many options on the menu for vegans/vegetarians. I didn't specify I can't have dairy and my sushi came with a mayo-based sauce so it was my mistake! and the server took it right back and replaced it without any hassle. Very friendly.
The ginger chicken is sour and tasted old. The fried rice, chicken with satay sauce and beef and broccoli all tasteless. Sushi tasted like what you’d from superstore, but old. I will not order from this place again.

Horrible over cooked noodles with no flavor. Both the pinaple chicken and sweet and sour pork are more batter then meat and so soggy it's just mush. Every dish was awful. Waste of 100$ do not get take out
Had their Fried Cantonese Noodles...WOW. SERIOUSLY, IT IS AMAZING. HUGE SERVING AND IT HAS A LOT OF INGTEDIENTS. ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER TASTED.
