Golden Lily

Definitely my favorite place to eat Chinese! They have the absolute BEST sweet and sour chicken. It is made NOT with a red sauce BUT, with a honey/vinegar sauce. They also make a fantastic hot and sour soup. Absolutely DELICIOUS! I am a long time fan due to visiting when they were located in downtown Toledo over 20 years ago. We are so blessed to have them in this area! The two things that you must consider when dining inside is first, the decor is a little outdated and the windows are cold in the winter. Sometimes you will catch a glimpse of dust. And second, the wait staff is normally under staffed. If you can keep these things in mind and look past them, you will have your mind blown away with the most delicious food. And keep in mind that they do take orders by phone with pick up at their drive through window. Try them today!

Food was goodish, shrimp were chewy and one had a pimple looking white cyst on it I didn't notice it at the restaurant but when I ate my leftover at home I noticed it. I popped it with a fork and white something came out of it I did not microwave or reheat the food so I know it wasn't due to that. I was grossed out and threw it away. Also I wish they specified that their fried rice had so much stuff in it mushrooms, bean sprouts, celery. I really liked how they bring out your soup first the wanton soup was amazing then when you're finished they bring out the egg roll, and then they bring out the main dish. This place is also about twice the price of any Chinese spot I've been too. The brown sauce is also unlike any other Chinese place I've been too, almost like gravy instead of the soy sauce based kind. Service was pretty good though, never had to ask for a refill.

They prepared my husband's favorite Hot and Sour soup in Toledo. They have dishes that aren't on typical Chinese menus. The Pineapple Beef was good. We'll definitely be going backFood: 5/5

The General Tso's chicken is outstanding, not too sweet and not too spicy. The rice and vegetable roll were perfect, and the whole meal was very good value. The waitress provided excellent service and she could not have been nicer.

Everyone loved their Chinese food. Me on the other hand, I got chicken tenders which were actually nuggets and overdone. The fries were good though. Sorry, I don't like Chinese food. The waitress was excellentFood: 3/5

My granddaughter always enjoys the BoBo tray. It is always one of the most friendliest restaurants in Toledo. I have been visiting the Golden Lilly since I was in my early 20's. Miss it being downtown .

Love the food here! Been going here for years. Dow seHar dish is a shrimo dish & very flavorful. I put it over shrimp fried rice instead of white rice. My husband loooovvees the Pepper Steak! Thats all he eats here! He will eat it for breakfast, lunch & dinner..lol Egg rolls are the best.Food: 5/5

Always friendly, food is amazing and not what you get every where else. Pricing is just right! Atmosphere is gorgeous!

Very good General Tso and it dont come with those pesky vegetables!!
