It’s such a cute little small Chinese business. They have great portions and food. Me and my friend loved the service and how fast everything came out. It was also great food and great times, even with all the people who were coming in and how busy it was.
I read the reviews and still wanted to visit. My husband was craving authentic Chinese food and not the overly salty Americanized version of Chinese food. Pulling into the parking lot in back had beautiful tulips and a cute little bunny! It is a small and quiet place. Very nice for a casual lunch or low key dinner. Everything was clean and no messes or trash anywhere. Walking in, it smelled amazing with the aroma of delicious food. The waitstaff was always very prompt, as soon as we finished a plate and put it at the end of the table, they cleaned it up within 1-3 minutes. Our food came out hot and fresh. There was a lot of choices and variety! We tried to eat as much as we could but we got so full! We definitely would like to come again and try other items we couldn’t try. I saw some comments about lack or veggies or meat. I think it might depend on the particular dish you order. But a lot of those concerns are 2+ years old and the dishes may have been modified since then. I felt the veggie to meat to noodle ratio was perfect. Also, they used rice noodles and not spaghetti noodles.
I asked for not oily sweet and sour and I got garbage trash food left overs warmed up. They must have new person because I've never had this poor quality food. I asked for darken rice not sugar rice. It's so sweet I spat it out. Rice, so much Hosein sauce too much dark brown sugar too much. Not dark of flavor. Dark of sugar bomb. Sweet and sour chicken burnt and oily not golden and crispy. Chicken mushroom could be soup boiled soup. Chicken could be rat meat considerably boiled with no flavor like chicken. At least mask the taste with chicken broth, seasonings, spices. Come on. Even if it was chicken, It's boiled to hell. Only good was lo mein. Had to add spices extra. Soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil. They also got 20% tip. For delivery pick up. My mistake and family mistake. Family really looking forwards. I have big family too. We not have family eat here for awhile. Lesson learned. Very sad. Very Very sad. Family loved this place absolutely adored this place. No I am not picky. They have quality food, I know this. This given to me tonight was spit in face. In families face. Very sad.
Unfortunately my first and last time getting food from here. The food was just bland, the best thing I had out of the three items was the orange chicken, other two were the chicken chow mein and beef & broccoli. The orange chicken was definitely the least best orange chicken I've had. As soon as my girlfriend and I opened the boxes we were surprised to see how colorless and boring everything looked. Chow mein and the chicken were white and tasteless. Broccoli and beef were underwhelming with little to no taste. We ended up re-cooking the food and adding spices that were missing and tasted way better. If you're not into spices or just into foods that are simple in every aspect, I recommend it. Otherwise, for my girlfriend and I, we absolutely were disappointed with what we got
Short staffed and not told that upon arrival. It would have made a difference if we were told. It was my husband’s birthday and the Golden House was highly recommended by our friends. Didn’t receive rice. All plates came out at different times. Dietary restrictions: Nothing noted for GF so I took a risk I would be ok.
Amazing atmosphere and I think I found our families new "spot" for Chinese food! The egg drop soup was flavorful and our entrées were great as well! We had broccoli beef and the 4 star chicken pao which had just enough spice!Food: 5/5

I love their food. I have tried a variety of their dishes sweet and sour chicken being my personal favorite and not once have I ever been disappointed. Their potstickers are to die for. If I could give this place a 10 star rating I would. If you are new to the area, don't hesitate to give Golden House a try. You won't be disappointed.
We like ordering Chinese food from this family owned restaurant and also close to home. My husband likes pork foo young, and other 2 dishes we usually order when we order = chicken cashew and Mongolian beef. Food is good and the portion is pretty generous = we always have left over for couple days after. Parking: Restaurant has their parking behind it.
It’s so inexpensive. I mean you could get lunch for under $10!!! Mostly standard Chinese takeout fair but there are a few super high quality dishes like the braised pork belly.
