I have lived so close to this place and never knew it was even there ! This place is definitely worth checking out. Everybody working there was super friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable about all the questions I had on the cheese and milk they sold. They have a cute little kitchen with daily fresh baked scones and muffins. As well as full meals. My friend and I ordered the grilled cheese and cheesy tomato soup and it was probably the best grilled cheese I have ever had. The cheese was so rich and delicious. The Mac and cheese also looked very good and I hope to be able to try it next time I come . This place is also very easy to access for wheelchairs and there is lots of space for parking out front. I also noticed they had a heated deck which will be nice to have when the days start to get colder. I loved the experience and atmosphere here as well as the wonderful baked food. I will definitely come back soon to buy some cheese and try a new dish ! Highly recommend supporting and checking out this wonderful local cheese farm !
Great knowledgeable, welcoming staff. The products here are all premium quality. The brunch was tasty and so was the coffee. The cheese, Yum! The sausages, yum!Food: 5/5
This is a great find in Maple Ridge. I stayed in my RV. They have a great specialty shop with lots of made on site cheeses. Had "Rooting piggie Hash" for breakfast and it was incredible. Ask for the chefs homemade hotsauce! This is a family run operation and everyone was very friendly. Only 30 minutes from Vancouver and well worth the trip.
We visited it as a family for the first time. Everything was great. All kind of cheese that you can imagine. We got poutine with butter , grilled cheese, Mac and cheese and all are amazing. Ice cream was nice especially in today’s hot weather.
This place is part of Harvest Host. Friendly staff, good choices and a huge parking lot for our RV. For 15$ we were able to get water and electricity. What more can you ask? Food was great. Nice selection of sandwiches. If you're part of HH this is a definite place for a stop over for a night. Almost forgot, cheese is their specialty and, what a choice they have.
Good evening I wanted to mention that my husband, myself and mother in law came in this past Friday. I was chatting with one of the ladies about a cheese that would be good for lactose free and she mentioned she is as well so she helped me pick a couple that are good. Then when we went to the till to pay the cheese and lunch I said I'm celiac so the lady at the till spoke to the chef and he created a gluten free sauce for the poutine for me. It was delicious. I just wanted to express how thankful I am for caring about my dietary needs. It's so hard to eat out anywhere but truly appreciate the amazing customer service. I only wished I lived closer to come more often. Thank You so much. 5 stars for sure. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
First time trying this local artisan cheese craftery after living in Maple Ridge for over 5 years… and all I can say is wow, why haven’t I visited sooner?? I had the Smokey and the Berry grilled cheese sandwich… and it was soooo good! It came with a side of creamy roasted vegetable soup which had me asking the chef/owner ? what the soup was. Super flavourful and hearty! He was kind enough to give me a cup of soup to take home and enjoy, along with a chocolate sample to try. Everything was perfect and the food is on the pricier side but definitely worth the price because you get high quality food with amazing service! Will be visiting again very soon!
It's taken a long time to finally get here, as they have minimal hours not an issue. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed. During our purchase, the cashier just stared at us and didn't say a word making it quite awkward. Purchased some cheese muffins and a sweet scone...both were dry and mediocre on the flavor scale. The 'baker' gave us an extra muffin, which I thought was nice, but then he commented that he made too many and needed to get rid of them and rolled his eyes. It was too busy but a few people were sitting outside. We won't be back. Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a ramp. Just stairs.
We went for soup and a scone, which is usually good here but today the soup was vegetable barley, which we were very excited for but for some reason they made it with curry and that was a very unexpected flavor in a traditional comfort food and not a lovely combination.
If you're just here to buy the cheese, then that's fine. The cheese is excellent. But the restaurant portion for its price point is terrible. After they'd finally remembered, we'd ordered food. We got our food luke-cold and clearly recently warmed up. The fries for the poutine was dry and starchy. And the soup lacked flavour considering how many ingredients they'd shoved in. Whoever is cooking doesn't care so dont come here to sit down and eat, just pick up the cheese and use it at home.
