A MUST stop for handcrafted pastries and butter cookies by the pound. Small town atmosphere with down home taste.
I got their BLT and it was delicious. You get to pick between white, wheat, or I think rye bread. You get a generous amount of bacon, a pickle, and potato chips. I ate the sandwich and pickle and I was full. The sandwich was bigger than I expected and was only $6! Delicious.
It's usually good but stopped at 20 minutes before closing and found that we could get only cold sandwiches and only a small selection at that. Had wanted soup as it is usually very good but also weren't serving that.
Cinnamon roll was a little stale. Cherry apple fritter was pretty good. Doughnuts were average. Was just ok.
The donuts were sub-par. The cinnamon roll was average at best. The coffee was awful. The service? I didn't feel welcomed. It could have been just me. She did check to see if my $10 was counterfeit though, which I had never seen done before.
Great food great service!!! We will definitely be going back!
We had a breakfast quiche and a apple fritter. Looked good, but the former according my partner tasted like an inner tube, and the latter was mainly tasteless soft dough.
Always friendly......love the smells!!!!
Excellent coffee and baked goods. Nice place to meet and socialize.
