I hear that there's a ratio that determines how good the food will be based on restaurant looks- meaning that the worse a place looks, the better the quality and taste is. Gogo isn't the best looking place, but the service, quality & taste %100 make up for that. I had a combo plate with a crunch crunch roll & Eskimo roll, that was amazing. Our server was kind and took great care of us. 10/10 I'll be back
We love this place and we eat here very often. Service is great, food is great, and the place is decorated much better than you'd expect. Excellent variety and quality of food. We never had any bad experience here despite coming very often. Prices are reasonable but not low. You probably can find a lower price for the same dish in British Columbia, but taking everything into account the prices are very reasonable.
By FAR the best Sushi in BC hands down! Quality, value, and service is top notch. My Fiancé & I have enjoyed every experience we’ve had here. Simply can’t say enough about their kindness & professionalism. And their takeout is just as good, extremely quick and always fresh. Get here!!
Had Gogo for the first time today and was very happy I did! The whole family enjoyed their lunch, everything was very fresh and well prepared. Great value for the price as well, nobody went hungry!! If take out was that fresh I’ll definitely be back to eat in. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Got take out and was about 60 dollars after tips and tax. Very big and delicious pieces for the price just the way I like it. The best piece by far were the toro sushi pieces that melted in our mouth. Staff is friendly as well. Next time we visit lake country we will be back to dine here.
Rice was way over cooked , tuna and salmon were not fresh at all , 14 prices of sushi and only a dab of Wasabi also the ginger was dry old stuck in a dry clump , I did not enjoy the meal , I suggest dinning elsewhere.
Had to wait a long time for my take out order. While waiting I listened to customers complaining of missed items in their order. The confusion and lack of organization behind the counter was comical. Definitely not the same experience we have had since they opened.
We ordered a couple of rolls and gyoza, and they were delicious! The gyoza were cooked just right! I got the perfect amount of wasabi and ginger. Service was fast and very welcoming
Turtle Bay GOGO sushi is reasonably priced and of good quality; for me the sashimi and Rainbow rolls are consistent litmus tests: the sashmi was fresh and with good quality salmon, the rainbow roll had nice thick fish on top and was tasty, on par with many similar places. The preparation time for takeout was fast. Staff were friendly. Overall: enjoyed the sushi and will be back when next in the area.
I'll definitely be going here again. Service was good, restaurant was clean and bright and their food was great. I highly recommend their tea, it's not green tea like at most Japanese restaurants but a peach tea with just a hint of sweetness.
