Sales Team: We were purchasing brand new appliances for our new home. Jessica was incredibly helpful through the entire experience. Very knowledgeable, professional, great communicator, made everything incredibly easy. I highly recommend Jessica, and will be going back to deal with her exclusively for all future needs. 1st Delivery: Unfortunately we had a mishap in regards to delivery. The first crew that came deemed the delivery unsafe and left without looking at any other options. We have a 36 inch door in our garage but he said “nope, we’re not doing that” and left. The crew stayed on site for less than five minutes and left without trying to make anything work. We were extremely upset and disappointed by this. We were booked for an installation the next day which was cancelled and unfortunately cannot be rebooked for another two weeks. Incredibly disappointed by this as well. Luckily, the second delivery team made up for where this first “team” lacked…and then some. 2nd Delivery: Jermaine, Sean, and Harvel Truck TGC 52 were INCREDIBLE! They delivered all of our appliances with ease and did not have a difficult time whatsoever. They were polite, hard working, professional, and were just all around wonderful people. There was not a scratch or dent in anythingproduct or home. If you are going to have a delivery done with Goemans, I would highly recommend you request this team. Our sales rep Jessica also got on the phone and rescheduled this 2nd delivery promptly for us. She was incredibly helpful, and even emailed us on her days off. I cannot speak higher of this woman!
I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional company, I almost blame myself for not reading these reviews before buying our fridge at the St.Catharines location. We paid for them to deliver and attach the water line/install. They came last week, left the garbage from the wrapping on the floor which I don’t care so much about, but again, when paying for a full service you would not expect that, and then minutes after they leave there is water pooling behind my fridge. We call them and immediately receive the worst customer service I have ever experienced, being told nobody will be coming back out and providing zero resolution. We specifically said we did not want the same delivery gentlemen back due to their poor service. I called the St.Catharines store and was told they would have the manager call me, and of course no call. I went ahead and sorted it out myself, basically their installer didn’t attach it properly because it was fine once I took care of it myself. Couple hours later the same delivery gentlemen we complained about attend the door, clearly angry and stating that they “were told to drive 2 hours to come look and pick up garbage”. They claimed that it is the water line that is the problem, giving attitude throughout to my pregnant wife and simply walking out the front door, leaving it wide open and driving away. I called once again and was told that the owner will call me, and of course, no call. I followed up yesterday and told the story yet again. Today I received a call from customer service and after I said a plumber has now come and said the line is fine and they didn’t put it on properly, they somehow thought this was resolved. I said considering I paid for a service that they botched, and had to pay a plumber to come confirm the water line is actually fine, a reputable company would at the very least give a refund for the service they botched and the delivery considering the service we received. I was told there is no guarantee on that and I will hear back from them. Since speaking with people about the service I received, others who used Goemans advised that the sales people forewarned them that there have been numerous complaints about the customer service and delivery and that is out of their hands. It should be common practice at Goemans to forewarn customers that there are severe issues with the professionalism and customer service, so that customers can be informed on whether to purchase from them. Figured I would share my current situation so that anyone considering buying from them can make their own informed decision, since I would have gone elsewhere had I known the way they operate.
Must commend Jessica of Goemans Appliances on Bunting road in St. Catharines. We had to replace our Samsung washing machine and it was the first appliance store we decided to visit. She took the time to understand our problem, took time in providing us options taking us through the pro and cons of these options and answering our queries, made sure that we had realistic expectations relating to the product, delivery and installation and gave us ample time to make our decision. She was both professional yet personal. Excellent experience - Thanks.
After wasting most of our afternoon in big box stores, we remembered Goeman’s. We needed a specific sized dishwasher, called and spoke to Kelly. She had one in stock and we rushed into the store. We were met with a friendly hello and a big smile. She had everything set up to go on her computer when we arrived. She knew everything there is to know about her products! Great customer service backed up by knowledgeable and attentive reps- absolutely outstanding experience! I will only shop Goemen’s for all appliances going forward. And we had fun while purchasing! Great laughs and fabulous treatment. 11/10!!! Thank you Kelly!!
Terrible experience from start to the end. Unfortunately I would never recommend this store/company and would never buy from theme again. Our online rep was not easy to deal with and the company customer service is the worst I've experienced. We placed an order for our appliance in April and were told they will be arriving 6-8 weeks. After that we were told that we had to pay in full for our order or the items on our hold will not be on hold which was confusing as we thought our deposit would hold the appliances. And now finally in October our appliances are being delivered. I understand the waiting period but having us pay in full should not have been expected.
Ordered all appliances for our new home in Jan 2022. September 2022 on and still being told that delivery of the dishwasher selected would be delayed till October. Ultimately, ended up cancelling the order for the same. We have been told it's manufacturer delay but we just couldn't believe that for us the model was not available for 8+ months when same was still listed on Goeman's website and other websites though with wait of over 2 months on one website when I tried to order online. Will never go to Goeman's again and won't recommend anyone either. Really disappointed.
Kenn Stewart goes above and beyond! You are very fortunate to have him! You can be sure of a loyal customer and referrals! Word of mouth is advertising you just can't buy!! As a former manager and Director, I can tell you that in addition to compensation, personal recognition is a great retention tool. Kenn follows up and follows through professionally and quickly.
I am extremely frustrated with the service from the extended warranty we purchased from Goemans. My 14 month old dishwasher hasn't worked for 4 weeks, and when I called the service was assigned to TransGlobal, who didn't come out for 2 weeks and all the techician did was look at the error code I reported and said he would order parts. That was 10 days ago and still no contact to install parts despite my phone calls. This is not a good reflection on Goemans if they are endorsing this service!
We are so pleased with our stackable washer and dryer we purchased from Goemans. Shout out to Kelly for being so helpful and knowledgable in helping us choose the right models for our needs. She was awesome, and helpful with answers to even more questions after delivery. The delivery was fantastic as well, very friendly, and I liked how we could track our delivery online so we knew when they'd come. Very pleased, and will be sure to go back for our next appliance purchase.
We were greeted by Kenn at the store and he gave my husband and I his full attention when purchasing our appliance. He answered all our questions and we will be back . Excellent customer service.
