This spot totally surprised me — in the best way. It has a laid-back, beachy vibe with an unbeatable view of the lake and the ships, and the feeling of enjoying fish and chips right by the water is just perfect. The place has character, warmth, and that honest charm you don’t find everywhere.nnThe food was fresh and tasty, the staff was friendly, and the prices were incredibly fair — which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and relaxed, like you’re soaking up summer with friends.nnIt may look unassuming from the outside, but it truly delivers a full experience: beautiful view, great food, good people, and genuine atmosphere. A must-visit in Goderich!

We were by the pier area to visit and noticed this place at the side road. It's a local hole so we thought we would try it. The place only serves fish and chips. There is an outdoor area with benches, and a small eat in at the side that you can ask to open.nnThere is no washroom on site. The servers were friendly. It was less than 10 minutes wait as there were about 3 to 4 orders ahead of ours.nnWe had 2 orders of the fish and chips and 2 packets of tartar sauce. There are vinegar and salt flavours to choose from to top off the fish and chips. The fish portion is small, but it was cooked fresh, crispy and tasty. We asked for the smoked and malt vinegar for flavor, which they spray on the fish. The fries could be crisper. I had the onion and garlic flavour while he chose the dill salt.nnI get the choosing of different flavours of vinegars and salts, but the spray amount they put on the fish I find isn't enough for myself and the same with the salt flavour for the fries. My partner had the dill salt and said he couldn't taste anything on his fries and was disappointed.nnThe place doesn't offer ketchup or tartar sauce for free or having malt vinegar on the side counter, compared to other restaurant establishments. It is 50 cents for a packet of tartar and 25 cents for a small packet of ketchup. I prefer having my own control of how much vinegar to put on my fish as opposed to someone spraying the flavour and same goes for the salt as well. Food is average, would be nice if there was a choice of being able to add your own vinegar and having tartar sauce and ketchup for free.

This little place was amazing, some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, excellent beer too! They make their own malts, and vinegars, delicious. Great service, perfect day to sit outside on Lake Huron in Goderich, Ontario! Highly recommend a visit!

We were camping over at Point Farms PP and came here after seeing YouTubers Ben and Cheryl of Camping with the Coles recommend it while they were staying in the area. Definitely glad we came. It’s definitely not fast food but it’s worth the wait. There was no indoor seating option but there were multiple picnic tables to choose from - unfortunately none had any shade umbrellas and it was hot and sunny while we were there so we didn’t stay long. Bonus was there was live entertainment with someone playing guitar and harmonica and singing tunes. That was fun. The fish and chips we got were fresh and very good. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly crispy, and the chips were golden and fluffy. Great portion size and super fresh.
