It was my first time dying my hair and did not regret it! I went for hair color and hair cut. My hairstylist was Sunny. She and her colleague did an excellent job! They are very polite and handy with my hair. I took their advice for my hair color and turned out amazing! will definitely go back again ! Thus, I could say I am satisfied with the work!
I did my hair color and had cut at Christie location. Stylist name was Minju. She was just great. She took time to go through my hair first, listened to my opinion and shared her honest opinion at the end. Very polite and professional. Truly she understands her job so well. Unlike some stylist who rushed and leave u with disappointment. I would definitely suggest her at this location.
Unfortunately my haircut, wash and style with Joy today was bad. She seemed really nice, but the whole process was incredibly rushed and my hair suffered so much as a result.nnI arrived at 5:20 and had paid and left the salon by 5:50. In 30 minutes, she had washed and then cut off nearly half of my hair when I had asked for 1.5-2 inches off the ends and some long blended layers.nnI’ve attached before and after photos for reference. As you can see, the shortest layers in the front make me look like I have a bob. Not even close to what I asked for.nnIn addition to chopping off the length I’ve spent YEARS growing, she also thinned out my already thin hair significantly. When I told her it was shorter than I wanted, she hardly acknowledged I said anything and I was rushed out of there. It was not styled at all - maybe 3 minutes of the whole appointment was spent with a straightener over my hair - that was still partially wet.nnI understand that they operate at the prices they do because the service is quick, but even then my 50 minute appointment only took 30. If she had spent 5 more minutes with my consultation and 15 more minutes taking her time cutting, I think I would have had a very positive review instead.nnOverall it was a very uncomfortable and upsetting experience.
I went for a haircut with Hana last week. I asked for a cut to shoulder level and would like my hair layered. The length is fine, however the layering is terrible. She did some cutting and dried my hair with the round brush before continue her cutting. But my hair curled after being dried with the brush so I don’t know how can she managed the layering to be smooth and blended thoroughly.nnYou can see from the photo, my hair looks choppy and the layering was not blended at all.nnIt was a disappointing visit.
This was my first time getting my hair cut at a Korean salon. Initially, I was delighted with how my hair looked after they blow-dried and styled it—I even gave them a $10 tip. Normally, my hair looks smooth in the morning after showering at night, but this time it didn't. When I checked it in the mirror, I was disappointed to find that the haircut wasn't what I expected. It looked dry, and the layers were not what I had asked for. I was so disappointed. nnThese photos were taken after 2 days of the haircut.nnUpdate: the customer service is excellent. The manager, Leah, contacted me immediately and was very sorry about what happened. I booked another appointment to fix my hair, but surprisingly, I paid nothing even I requested to get another haircut. Thank you Sumin!
