Wow! What a great night! We were first-time visitors and will definitely return for future shows. We booked because we wanted to see the show Shirley Valentine and naively thought of the dinner as just a nice added bonus. Boy, were we wrong about that! The food was exceptional; fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared and presented. The staff were unfailingly friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The setup of both the dining area and theatre was carefully planned, ensuring safe social distancing. The show will remain a wonderful memory; Sarah Quick IS Shirley Valentine! Sarah's performance was absolutely spellbinding. Thanks again for an exceptional evening. Wishing you much success in the future! You truly deserve it.
We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and shown to our table for the dinner portion of our evening. Our chosen 3 course meal was delicious and plentiful, served by attentive wait staff. Our evening continued ~ being entertained by talented actors in a live theatre production. Sarah and James congratulations to you and your team.
This is a fantastic place for enjoying a rendezvous with family and friends. We really enjoyed the Mmmbeth Macbeth student drama performance last night! We will definitely be going there again sometime soon !
The Globus Theatre has so much to offer! Their dinner and theatre packages are very reasonably priced, serving a delicious meal before the show. The shows at Globus vary from season to season, serving up a variety in selections to suit everyone's personal taste in theatre. I really like the fact that it is a smaller venue, making each visit relaxing and enjoying, without that 'big venue formality feel'. I am excited to see what their 2023 line up will offer!
It was a beautiful experience and one that we will want to repeat! We were served a delicious three course meal, and the play was unforgettable! We went to watch an incredibly hilarious rendition of the Three Musketeers, where all the roles were played by the same four actors! They were so talented!
Everything was great. Food was plentiful and delicious. The Panto Cinderella was funny, and all the actors put on a great show. Highly recommended
Attended Friday July 8th. Bought the dinner/floor show package. The entertainment was terrific and the food exquisite. Service efficient and friendly. The rub; coffee was not included in the package and there was a double charge for two diet drinks. Most venues of that nature include coffee with the meal and generally the second soft drink is free. Small issue but it's all about the details.
I am always blown away by the quality of my experience each and every time I visit! Sarah and James are some of the very best people you will ever meet, go find out for yourself!
My girlfriend and I chose this location for a "dinner and show" type date, and I am so glad that she introduced me to this location. The food was absolutely amazing I had the Caesar salad, the lamb, and a berry crumble, and they were all made perfectly. The staff we interacted with were very kind and all-around a great touch to our experience, with all of them being very kid, helpful, and welcoming. The show after dinner, Shirley Valentine, was amazing. Sarah Quick, the actress who played Shirley, did a spectacular job, and there was never a dull moment. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and great theatre. I'll be happy to come back soon!
Dinner and a murder mystery... It was so great to be back at the Globus Theatre after such a long break. Awesome food, a great show, brilliant acting and just a wonderful experience. Thanks to Sarah, James and all their team for providing such a great experience, right in our backyard.
