Join us for a unique local food experience just minutes from the downtown core. Anchoring the entrance to the Danforth, Globe Bistro offers something for everybody. You can choose from over a dozen wines by the glass from our extensive wine cellar or enjoy a leisurely Sunday brunch with friends. Friday lunch hosts a mix of locals gathering or business meetings. Neighbourhood dining at its best!

Feel free to chat with the Chef at the open kitchen or for more intimacy, a private dining room is available for groups. Fresh seasonal and local ingredients inspire Chef Dan Sander’s culinary creations that incorporate flavours from around the world.

Great service. Fantastic osyters. Decent wine list. The steak was little chewy. Elk was good. Beef cheeks were great.

One of my faves on Danforth. Loved every meal I've had here.

I did the travelzoo six course tasting menu here and it was a great experience. Good service, delicious food and they cater to food allergies very nicely. The portions are also quite large for a tasting menu. Very romantic atmosphere and beautiful decor.

Attended a wedding here, they serve organic and locally grown food, and the dishes were incredible! Service was awesome, the employees were polite and very accommodating. The owner is an all-round nice and chill guy. Highly recommend!

Ambience is high class. The interior is beautiful. There is a lot of space, multiple floors and a rooftop sitting area. Service was prompt and the food was delicious.

This place has good food, but we were just there and waited 2 hours with our toddler and didn’t receive our entree in that time. We had our food packed up to go and my husband’s $34 duck is the below. Pretty disappointing portion.

Beef tartar was really Awesome. The next dish as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Love the foam..... My rainbow trout had the most amazing lime foam as a sauce on it... Also loved the New Brunswick oysters very good... And 1/2 price wine Sundays is a bonus

I simply enjoyed their dishes. I always get awesome customer service there. The place is well organised and the employees are always very kind. Will come back again.
