Used this provider through sunlife for an insurance travel claim. I was lucky enough to be able to call before having to use medical services and open my claim right away. Staff helped me and explained what was covered french caller. I then used the online portal to submit all the documents once I was home. It took two to three weeks but i was paid in full via direct deposit interac e transfer!. I thought I'd post this because reading the reviews while my claim was being processed had me expecting the worst. There is hope... at least for some.
7 months into my claim coming from the AirCanada strike last August and these clowns keep asking for docs after docs which have been provided them SEVERAL TIMES. If i could give them -1 star would gladly do. Shame on them and shame on TD for their credit card affiliation with them. Horrible service, uber frustrated
Wish I can give a 0 star!!!!nnI called overseas initially end of September, for my travel medical insurance claim. The lady was helpful on the phone and started a claim for me. She told me she will send me a link and I just need to attach my invoice and proof of payment with credit card statement and I can get reimbursed.nnI did as asked, and then received subsequent email notification about the claim, asking for missing document etc. a few weeks later. That's fine - I submitted the additional document that was requested.nnThen since no reimbursement was received nor further notification about my claim, I called back after a few weeks. Whoever I spoke with this second time made a HUGE mistake it seems. Since this second call, which has now been almost 2 months, I am now getting email notifications informing that there are no claim forms nor supporting documents in their system at all about my original claim. Did the person delete all my information in the system? What happened?nnIt is now 2 months after my original claim submission with no reimbursement and a claim open that has no documents - even missing original claim form, so I am having to restart/resubmit all of my claim documents including my claim form!!!! What a waste of my time!!!!
Worst online portal ever. This third party travel insurance is completely useless but decided to try to see if the claim is honoured. After spending an hour on portal submitting all the information the page decided to stop working for the schedule upgrade. Couldn’t save and couldn’t retrieve the claim. 0000 star!
Received great coverage for my mother. Service was clear, prompt and efficient. Support personnel were very considerate. Thank you team.
