Exceptional church with a profusion of marble columns, it must indeed be an incredible feeling to have built such a house of worship when you contrast it with your typical church in the US. The wooden sculptures are also very impressive.
I’m a big fan of religious architecture. Too bad it’s closed today Monday and perhaps every Monday? There were other people wanting to go inside during my visit. The parish should claim this location on google maps and put their hours on here for other tourists, especially it takes a while to get to. But I still love what I saw - the town is nice, the surroundings, the river, and the exterior of the church.
