Ok this review is obviously way overdue. This is geared towards the venue being rented out for a wedding.. Got married here 10 years ago and from what I can tell you the vendor experience was amazing. They were so easy to work with and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was exceptionally good, not like the typical food you get during weddings. People still talk about it till this day. I can tell you that the staff did everything they could to make our night special and they succeeded. I figured this review was 10 years too late, but they deserve the recognition.
We just enjoyed our company Christmas Party at Glendale Lakes for about the 20th time. We keep going back because the staff and management is absolutely outstanding to work with! The pricing is very reasonable, food is great and most importantly, everyone from Glendale Lakes is both welcoming and accommodating. Mike Rogers, Jennifer Farrell and everyone Glendale Lakes, really makes us feel special and they have always been willing to help with special requests, dates, etc. Thanks to everyone from the wait staff, to the bartenders...everyone at Sunrise Chevrolet is grateful for your hospitality! We'll see you all again next year.
Course was in good condition. Tee boxes very hard, greens very fast and rollout. We had a group of 20+ golfers, bar and restaurant closed. Why?
Went there for their annual Daddy -daughter dance. It was a wonderful affair as usual and fun was had by all.
Course layout was great. Lots of fun with water threatening on most of the holes. Plays about 6200 from the tips, but with the cold and forced layups on some holes, it plays much longer.
The golf club is tucked in a quite Neighborhood. The banquet rooms are we designed and the banquet staff is friendly. Parts of this facility needs a facelift to bring the missing charm back.
Great place to have company party's and host events at! This is one of the cleanest place that I have been to!
Recently played at the Glendale lakes golf club and although the facility and the equipments were per the expectations their pro shop crew can do better. I had a 6am tee time for which I got to the facility at 5:45am even with checking in online and paying up front. Upon getting to the facility I proceed to the pro shop as I saw an older gentleman working in there. As soon as I opened the door I was greeted with hostility, “we are closed, go wait outside. Even if you check in online you have to get a receipt so come back when we are open.” Although the intent of what he was saying was clear it could have been said in a better way. I went on to the putting green at which point another gentlemen told me to get a receipt so I can tee off. He also admitted that the pro shop man was being “grumpy” so this wasn’t just my observation. If are not a morning person and can’t handle speaking politely to your guests than it’s time to either switch your jobs or make it a private facility. I really hope this was a one-off incident.
Glendale lakes golf club was great to work with, made planning my event very easy! Everyone loved the space and the food! Would definitely have another event there!
The folks at the course are really nice, but they might also be too nice. There are definitely some groups that slow down the entire course for everybody but the rangers don't really do much about it. The course itself is pretty nice for what you pay, a little bit shorter, but still challenging. The greens are not kept up well by other golfers. There are divots all over the greens.
