Conveniently located downtown so great option when you need something quick but the store is very small and does not have an extensive selection. In General, the prices are high but they have great weekly specials. Sadly whenever something is on special, they always run out. The produce is expensive and not good quality. I came 3 days in a row to get the strawberries on special and they were all out. On the fourth day they had some and they were all going bad.nThe best part about this store is the staff! Everybody in the store are so incredibly kind and helpful. Many of them are so friendly and personable. They take the time to talk to you and help you with whatever you need. Being new in this town and being alone makes me feel quite lonely and isolated sometimes but when I walk in here, I always have a great conversation with the floor staff and they make me feel happy and welcomed! This is actually what will get me to keep coming back. No matter how imperfect their merchandise is, as long as a Staff stay friendly and respectful I will always give this store my business!
While traveling in the Northwest Territories, it was nice to find this grocery store. It had everything we needed to make our trip much more comfortable. It was nice to be able to buy groceries instead of eating at restaurants.nThe people working here. We're not friendly but I wasn't looking for friends. I was surprised with the pan handling in front of the store. Although it didn't bother me much, because I'm from San Francisco. And they're much more aggressive.
It is a smaller grocery store especially compared to the other Independent but there is no room to expand so I’m glad this store is a great option for people who live in the downtown area. Still, there is a good selection of products and prices are very good.
I would give zero stars if I could. A lady who worked there didn’t greet me or thank me, and she didn't even wait for me to show my PC card. Zero communication until I asked, she said it wasn’t her job and then laughed with her co-workers. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They used to have a lot of good workers, but now I avoid going there. Thank you for that.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the store for providing such an amazing selection of international goodies! I was blown away by the variety and quality of the items I found there. The staff was incredibly helpful and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.nHighly recommended!
