I believe Indepent supermarket is the only one here in yellowknife so there is no other supermarket that you can campare it with. It serves its purpose to the people in yellowknife. The place is organize and a lot of choices. In terms of freshness of the meats, i would say not so much because first the location, secondly the time frame they deliver rhe products. Overall, it is a supermarket and you will still enjoy buying your grocery over there.

Nice clean store, sometimes it's a long walk to get through it. Occasionally, I have a hard time finding items.

Conventient downtown location with most of the basic selection you need.

Usually better Prices then co-op has basically same things some days has great sales always nice selection of Fruits/Veggies
