Well preserved historical home that gives us a completely different perspective of life and living. The simple advances of indoor plumbing or doing laundry were enough to ease the burden of those times. A guided and unguided tour through the house is available. Worth it for older adults to appreciate the current modern conviences.
Absolutely beautiful. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I plan to take my daughters sometime soon. Call in advance because they do book tours, and host events.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Interesting mansion with still a few original furnishings left. Good presentation and historical introduction by the knowledgeable staff. Recommended to visit, at least once.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A must-see second empire home. You can walk 3 floors, the staff are friendly. Not needed to buy tickets in advance. I walked it in 40 minutes. Bathroom in the basement.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
An excellent example of Victorian architecture and beautiful interiors. What really makes this a special place are the staff that run it and their incredible knowledge! Brilliant!
A big, little treasure of the city. Well curated space. Staff uses tiktok to bring together the oldest and newest of schools. A plethora of Belleville history and timely exhibits to be found for short attention spans, and the gift shop has neat, open-ended play trinkets available with reasonable price tags.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Astounding! What a display of early 20th century opulence and luxury. The building is very well maintained, presents well , is free to enter and staffed by knowledgeable and helpful folks. Worth a visit !
Beautiful architecture and great set up. A lovely visit during the Christmas season, or all year round.

The most iconic and historic mansion in the city. Toured this place once as a child with our school and went back again as an adult. I enjoyed the tour both times.
