Gladwin City Park is a great place to camp! It’s smaller but super clean, big sites, quiet, and close to everything in town. It’s also very inexpensive for what it offers.
This place is amazing! I expected a typical 'camping-in-a-tent-with-minimal-necessities' experience, but GOOD LORD was I wrong and very outdated apparently. Sites have power and water and some WiFi. There are pavilions, courts, trails, bathrooms and a few showers. So this is camping in the 21st century? Count me in!
Beautiful campground right in town! GAFT community theatre runs seveal shows a year both inside and the summer musical outside giving the community a great place to visit. If camping while a theatre production is running it is worth taking in the local talent.
We always go there several time very nice place. I hopefully they will add a few more in th playground. Last year one cat came to me so sweet i pet it. I wonder how's cat doing ive not see a cat there for long time . Playground: Nice Restrooms: Nice Picnic area: Nice
It's a wonderful place to go for some quiet time and walk through nature. It has a nice paved path along the river
Very beautiful Park. The campers and workers there are always incredibly friendly. The bathrooms, and park areas are always well maintained!
When I stayed we were in a tent...it poured buckets of rain and our tent was flooded.... within minutes..we had five employees picking up our tent and moving it to dry ground. The entire park and campground was clean and all of the employees were helpful and nice. I have never seen such clean bathrooms in a campground.... five stars... can't wait to get back there.
Wonderful staff, the beautiful Cedar River to Wade and swim in, and the park is clean and convenient.
The Cedar River at the park has always been a favorite place to swim. From ankle deep to over my head...kids jump in from the far bank...it has a mostly sandy bottom in swimming area. Just got to brave the cold water.
Love this park!! The bathrooms are always very clean, the park is well maintained. There's a spot to park and walk in if you cannot pay to get in. There's a beach with a river in swim in and I love it because it's shallow and safe.
