An absolutely fabulous experience! Vance has such a connection to his lands and people you can feel how important the history and traditions are. We met Vance at the Kispiox totems on a beautiful sunny morning and after he performed a traditional welcome song sung to his deer hide drum, we delved into the totems and some of their stories. The energy at these sacred sites is vibrant and Vance's respect for them is evident in every word and step. A humble, honest introduction to this wonderful area and the history of the Gitxsan people, which left us feeling great all day!
