We were in town for one night only, and wanted to avoid the chains and fast-food places. I had read that the Brown Derby was a popular local steakhouse, so we checked it out. When we got there, it was packed a Friday night during prime Fall foliage season so it took a while to get a table, which was fine with us. You could tell that this place had it down, the servers and hosts were very busy, but kept their professionalism going in spite of some grumpy folks waiting for their tables. Once we were seated, our server set us up with a couple of draft beers, a big bowl of salad, and some yummy bread. Then we got our steaks -- so good! You can actually watch them cook the steaks though a window to the kitchen, and both had a great sear and a nice smoky flavor. We still made room for their cheesecake, and I would suggest that you do the same... delicious! Highly recommended.
GREAT steak, a meal fit for a Queen! Apologies for the pictures after we had already started eating but the food was yummy to our tummies at first bite The dinner lights were way too low.
I had a very positive experience here. The staff was kind and attentive. The steak filet was cooked to perfection, my shrimp was tasty, and so were the sides. I would happily come back here again!

Never been but would go again. My side salad was huge. My kid didn't like the kid's steak but she loved being able to watch the chef cooking the steaks. Vegetarian options: Very limited options. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available
Didn't know these still existed, our dinner was good amd the service was good too. Steak was cooked properly which is a miracle in itself nowadays. We would go back
Our waitress was very helpful and stopped to ask us how food was or if we needed anything multiple times which I thought was very sweet of her. The food was delicious, though we definitely ordered way too much for 3 people. The atmosphere was great had a very good time with my family, there was a lady at the table next to us that was being a slight Karen about her steak, but that is not the fault of the restaurant they can't control when those kinds of people are there.

My wife and I have lowered our expectations regarding our dining experiences. HOWEVER, we were so surprised and pleased with our visit to the Brown Derby! Every aspect was absolutely amazing. Our server Linda was attentive professional and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean, comfortable and inviting. Every part of the meal was fresh, expertly prepared and fantastically delicious. Do yourself a favor and go to the Streetsboro Brown Derby!
Ordered dinner for pick up and this time it was a big let down. T Bone steak was not cooked as I ordered, which was well done. It was half pink. They didn't give me the sauteed mushrooms and onions that I payed for. The bacon on my loaded mashed potatoes was undercooked and the potatoes looked like they were scraped off of some other people's plates. The beer battered shrimp was tough and over cooked with burned tips. I only had 2 tomatoes in a large salad with a ton of croutons. Maybe it was all rushed because they were extremely crowded but that is no excuse. I did not get what I payed for. I gave 2 stars because the staff was friendly and professional but I won't be eating here again.
