Coming from Texas, the ribs were fine, but not to the level I'm used to. The sides were very good as was the dessert. The owner was super nice and a true pleasure to chat with.
This was my first time here. Drinks, and food was awesome!!
This is a place where you feel like family. Very nice people and good food. I’m just giving 4 stars because I wish they’d update their menus a bit and also the wine/beer list. Prices are average and it’s a good place for families or date night.
Pleasantly surprised with the food. Service was also good. Interior looks a bit dated, but it manages to give the place character instead of holding it back.
We have loved coming to Ginopolis for the past eight years for the wonderful food and service and will try to make it back as many times as we can before the reported closing. So sad to lose yet another landmark of the Detroit area.
My wife and I had a fantastic time...sat at the bar. Sarah, our bartender, was wonderful. Drinks were awesome along with the appetizers.., Calamari and Greek Sausage...had take out to watch the Spartans/Wolverines at home. Ribs, brisket and Catfish...GREAT!!
Older crowd. Good value. Nice selection. All 5 of us were pleased with our selection. My liver could have been hotter. Brisket and ribs were tender and delicious. I would go back.
