First time trying Nepalese food and loved it! This place is really great. Portions are very large and the prices are crazy reasonable. I don’t know many restaurants that entrees are all around $10! Such a steal for what you are getting. Lots of options and variety on the menu with curries, momos, fried rice, noodles and more! Also very vegetarian friendly with lots of those options. The interior is nice and cozy and the servers were super kind! The wait for food is a tiny bit longer than usual but it’s no biggie. Highly recommend! I’m still not over those cheap prices for what you’re getting!
First time in this restaurant. First impression is warm and comfy place. Staffs are super nice and friendly, Also super polite. Food is great, big portion. Very impressed and happy for our meals. Oh Also, owner is here the whole time and interact with customers.
We tried Ginger Garlic for the first time in the last couple weeks and I am so happy we did. Being not familiar with the food I did do some googling before and read some reviews. This gave me an idea of what to order and we went from there. Butter chicken is a must try, and the garlic nann! 1 dish is enough for 2 people to eat from. For 2 people eating here we ordered 4 dishes and there was enough food to bring home. The price was definitely reasonable. The service was great, and right when we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly man who made sure we were taken care of! We will definitely be back! Thanks
Rating a 4 star only because of space contraintsother than that, it’s a 5 star. The meals are super delicious, the waiters are super nice and courteous. It gets really busy and unfortunately, they don’t take reservations due to the space constraints. Better to go early, if not, you might be waiting a bit to get a table. Other than that, everything is super nice! Their strawberry smoothie is a banger!
Little restaurant in Regina, supposed to be just a warm meal, after little bit of wait, the food came out really surprised us, everything is over expectation just like the other reviews, grilled pork, garlic naan, butter chicken, prawn noodle, staffs are friendly, place is comfort, warm and cozy, if I got a chance to come here again, this will for sure be on my list in Regina. The garlic here is fresh like crazy, smoothies also deserved a metal, price is also not expensive!
We arrived around 5 pm and there were plenty of available seats, although the parking lot was fairly small. We checked the menu through Google review photos prior to coming their website didn't have menu photos. The photos seemed up to date with what is on the menu. While it was my first time dining in, it was my partners second time. She stated that the interior had a bit of a decor overhaul, which I thought looked quite nice from how she described it looked previously. We decided to order a Samosa order comes with 2 pieces, Coconut Curry, Chicken Manchurian, Black Daal, Plain Rice, and Garlic Naan. I asked what their spices option was and they said they can make any dish spicier, so we ordered the Manchurian spicy. While waiting for the meal, the waiter brought us Aloo Pakoras 4 piece with sauce free of charge. Shortly after, the Samosas came out with the same sauce. They were both very good and still very hot. We noticed while we were waiting for the main course that many people get takeout and that the staff were always working on something to do. The owner was also there and was very hands on and friendly. The main courses came, and they were big. With the 4 plates, Naan basket, plus our own plates, it left little room on the table for 2 more guests I'm guessing a booth would be a better option, especially when ordering multiple dishes. We both tried a bit of each dish and had about a plate and a half each. Afterwards we were very full with plenty of leftovers. With most of the leftovers being the Curry, Daal, and Manchurian, I would have been tempted to order a second serving of rice to go. When we were finished our waiter brought us to go containers for us to fill along with a paper bag for transport. We filled the dishes and he loaded the bag, and we went to the till to pay. He offered us fennel seeds which have a strong licorice flavour. Overall the dine in was very pleasant, the service was excellent, and the food was very good. I'd love to try more of the spicey dishes in the future and I look forward to returning! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Parking: Limited parking available, plenty of street parking with a short walk
Food was awesome! Value to cost was also great. Service was a bit slow, but it was fairly busy. It took about 40m to get our food after we ordered. We put in takeout orders afterwards which took about an hour. Waiter didn't come back to check on how everything was after the food was delivered. Atmosphere was good, a bit loud, but again it was busy. I would and will eat here again. Parking: People don't know how to park in the winter when you can't see lines.
Had food for the 2nd time here tonight and was amazing again!!! Butter Prawns tonight, coconut chicken the time before, delicious!! Service top notch, portions so large you'll have a meal the next day and flavour just exquisite. Thank you for being here in Regina doing your thing!Food: 5/5
Ordered chicken momos and chicken fried rice and to my surprise, momos were very good and there red sause is good too. As far as Chicken Fried Rice is concerned it was 3 out of 5 in taste. It was more of some rice with boiled peas and carrots with some chicken on top. Would definitely recommend this place for MOMOS Chicken but can't really say for fried rice.
From the server to the owner, everyone acts friendly here. Even though the place was busy, we were seated right away. My friend and I tried 5 different dishes and they were all so fresh and delicious. We both had drinks and I was amazed to see how affordable everything is. We both went home with tons of leftovers that tasted amazing the day after! I also really appreciated the fact the restaurant was closing, yet the owner didn't rush us out and was extremely friendly with us till the end. Lovely place that makes people feel right at home in Regina!
