Our family entrusted Sarnia Cremation Services with my father's remains. Not wanting any of the extras that funeral homes charge for ie: viewing/visitation/gathering we are scattering his remains out of town this was a most respectful, compassionate and financially friendly company to work with. From receiving my father at the hospital, handling cremation, arranging pickup of his remains to multiple original death certificates, checklists of what to do next and even pre-filling out CPP death benefit forms on my behalf they were so wonderful, I would have been completely lost without their guidance. On a more personal note, and this may not be for everyone but I was much more at ease with a less formal approach about death. It has made the grieving process more bearable and I do believe more healthy for our family as we were able to personalize every step of Dad's journey. Calls, Emails and texts were all answered quickly, I was able to e-transfer funds and I was never pushed with upsells or extras. Not one. What I was quoted on the phone is exactly what I paid.
They are so understanding and efficient I used Gilpin for my dad’s creations last year and now my mom’s cremation this year it’s cheaper than anywhere else and you don’t have to pay till the government sends you the money to help pay for it so it really mad a difference as we didn’t have the extra money to pay upfront
