Gifford Woods State Park

A fantastic place to pitch camp and get back to basics. While the faces of the staff may change from time to time, they allways make that special difference that makes you want to come back again and again.

This was a great scenic stop. Great history for Flagstaff. Take the tour if you are able.

We LOVED this campground! Quiet, plenty of privacy between sites, very clean bathroom/shower. The staff were courteous and professional. We will definitely return to this pretty park.

Came to hike the 1+mile loop. Scenery was great, but didn't really have any views. The trail was not very worn, but had enough blazes to keep us going the right way. An easy hike, good for the whole family.

Very beautiful. Fall foliage seems to arrive here one or two weeks later than Killington because while we had nearly peak conditions at Killington, the leaves at the park were mostly green.
