Just had fish and chips tonight, it was to die for. It was so delicious, we will be eating there more often. I give it 10 stars if I could. So five stars it is. Thank you…. Parking: Parking was good, no problem with that.

Food tastes great and service was perfect. Some might call this place cosy, some might say it's outdated but either way the atmosphere there is welcoming and friendly. One thing I was not impressed by is the cleanliness. I sat at the window booth and tried not get my coat touch the windowsill that hasn't been cleaned for a while.
Hot buttery smooth lemon drizzled battered Alaskan Cod with chips that have the skin on the tips. Good portions, comfortable seats Mom n Pop type feel with homey decor and welcoming staff.
Went to Gibson's tonight called for a table for there no place to park no handicap spot for seniors to park who have trouble walking got in seated right away it was busy so we expected to wait a little but waited almost an hour and we still had not gotten our order we had all finished our drinks and still nothing four other couples came in after us and all got there orders before us and had finished eating and were leaving. Waitress said it was because they were busy when asked y other tables got served before us she said it's busy. Waitress said they would do something for our trouble and the long wait so we left to pay for our drinks were charged full price. As we were leaving waitresses and other customers started laughing and saying our meal was good and nothing they could do about it. Called the manager to let her no of poor service to get even worse customer service from her. Will not be going back and would not recommend going there if u want to eat anything.

Great place to go for fish and chips. Their specialty for sure. Also tried their Valentine's day brownie dessert in the shape of a heart. Also very good.
Best fish and chips since I left Halifax. Why it took me 10 years to stop in is beyond me. I’ll have to make up for lost time. Shrimp were bigger than expected, fish was fresh, thickly battered but light. Kids liked the chicken fingers huge portion. Fries were excellent. Price was high in my mind, until I saw the portions sizes. Please Add a family size coleslaw to your menu…and I was surprised to get beef gravy.
