It's an old fashioned ice cream parlor in look and feel. The early 20th century furnishings paired well with its excellent ice cream.
Happy to see the staff at Gesserts are wearing masks since the governor ordered them. I feel safer entering. In my opinion, staff should have been masked long before wearing them was a requirement.
Really good ice cream and fast service! There may look like a line but it moves pretty quickly. They offer more than just ice cream - large candy selection and fudge/chocolates.
If you plan on visiting Elkhart Lake any time soon I recommend stopping here! It is a splendid place to stop and grab a quick treat.
Very good ice cream on a waffle cone. So many unique flavors. I sampled several and found them all did not disappoint.
I used to visit regularly. We are ice cream fanatics and Gesserts used to be our favorite in Elkhart. Unfortunately, Gesserts employees refuse to wear masks as required by law. I interpret this as they do not respect me, my community, nor general health/safety/cleanliness. So I will be passing them up from now on.
Yum! What a blast from the past with cute sofa bar delicious desserts. Cute atmosphere and tasty treats! Line moves quick and entire team is nice. Visited twice while we were in town. 10/10!
Historical Gem! Great service, nice and cool in hot summer. A museum in back and a lot of the original store materials wood/flooring/cases. Highly recommend if you're in town!!
If you like pecan try the sea turtle. One word = YUM!
Old school ice cream shop, packed on a Saturday night but waited less than 5min to be served. Quite a few flavor options, had a coffew flavored icw cream with caramel and chocolate covered espresso beans.
