I stopped in for a burger and fries. I chose the Henry. I'm so glad I did. It was cooked to perfection and the flavors melded together deliciously. The hostess was attentive and cheerful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I look forward to my next meal here.
Guess whats coking is one of the best places to get your food in the Big Lake area hands down. Staff are always friendly and they support the community. You better arrive with empty stomachs because for the price of the food for the portions is crazy. Always made fresh and exactly the way you want it. I highly recommend the poutine fries. They also have a food trailer voted the best in Minnesota.
We are new to Big Lake and have been looking for a good small restaurant. We found it! Huge variety and great food. Had a double cheese burger with ghost pepper cheese and a pulled pork sandwich. Street tacos were bomb too! Highly recommend! Worth the $
Glad we finally got to try this place. We ordered fish tacos, mushroom & swiss burgers, brisket burger, a Ruben and the cheesy chicken tortilla soup. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. Great job Dave & crew!
Had Gess What's Cookin' for the first time tonight. Their food is SOO good! My husband and I both had a burger and were very pleased! Fries were wonderfully seasoned and cheese curds were great too! Great addition to Big Lake. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Highly recommend!
Mom and I got a burger and the fries off of their appetizer menu. Both burgers were plain and had no seasoning. Our loaded fries looked good until we ate them. Ended up giving my burger to the dog, since I couldn't eat it no more. I don't know what the huge hype is all about with this new restaurant. But after eating that, I feel like I can hurl.
This has become my go to spot now. I've ordered numerous times and everything has been exceptional. Sampler platter, tacos, power bowls, brisket, and pulled pork. Haven't ordered anything that wasn't delicious. Exactly what Big Lake needed. Well done, GESS, well done!
I've been following the food truck for a few years and finally had a chance tonight to stop into the restaurant. What a treat! Expansive menu, great service, a bright, clean and casual environment...What a gem in the Big Lake area!
So my favorite thing to order anywhere I go is a plain hamburger I don't add anything on after just meat and bread. Whatever meat they're using is fantastic and the burgers are delicious this is my new favorite spot for burgers!
