stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and had a GREAT time! We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds, a mini fridge and microwave. It was clean and comfortable and having the fridge and microwave was an added bonus! Our room also had a balcony that overlooked the outdoor pool. The hotel itself was also clean and our room was nice and quiet to sleep in. The front staff are top notch! Good sense of humour and always willing to answer questions or get you what you need. The indoor pool was great maybe a little colder than I would have thought, but you adjust also clean and well maintained! The hotel has lots of amenities that we took advantage of including bike rentals and mini putt! Wasn't expecting to have such a great time but was sad to leave! We will definitely be back!
The stay is not worth the money you pay. + Outdoor pool + Great restaurant on the first floor + Most of the Reception Staff are friendly and competent - The smell of weed in the halls although they have no smoking policy. It was strong to the point of making me and my wife sick by just walking down the hall. - Very interesting fella at the reception desk. She would keep repeating the same thing in increasingly irritated tone although you may have understood it the first time and started to ask other questions. - The same receptionist asks what they can do for you, but cannot provide simplest of the request by stating that our room is not qualified or something I still can't get it. We came to hotel from a long day of driving, hiking, and swimming, we were very tired and wanted to spend the rest of the evening with the tea, so I asked for a kettle. The receptionist refused to provide it by stating that we have a deluxe room and we can't have kitchen appliances there ???. Makes no sense considering that we had a coffee maker, microwave and fridge in the room. Eventually, she made me go through unnecessary and to be honest, embarrassing hassle of asking the people from the closing restaurant for a couple cups of hot water. - We tried to make hot water from the coffee maker by using water from bottles. However, it seems that it had not been cleaned for a very long time, as the water kept turning brown. We gave up after couple of cups. - I understand that this is not Ritz, but considering what was paid for two nights, I expected at least some quality in hospitality.
Hotel was a little outdated, some areas are quite old and worn. The room was a little grotty, dining chairs were stained and the table was sticky. We noticed that there was blood on a pillow sheet that had gone through to the pillow. Yes we should have said something but we didn't feel the need to make a fuss and put it to the side. I spoke to the lovely lady at the reception quietly to advise her and hope she got in touch with housekeeping to advise not to use that pillow. I also put a note on the pillow for housekeeping advising of the blood. The pool area is old and worn, loungers are either broken or sagging. Pool could do with a good clean, it looked it had chlorine overkill. Nice location as it seems to get the sun all day. The staff are very lovely and accommodating. The server in Gustav's is a champ. She worked the breakfast completely solo and was extremely efficient with delivery of food and we watched her clean the tables with great detail. Overall it is not too bad a stay, I have stayed at better for less. I don't think I would come back to stay. I hate putting bad reviews up however sometimes it needs to be addressed.
We met friendly and helpful staff in every department we had contact with front desk, restaurant, security, housekeeping. The restaurant offers a huge variety of delicious food. We really enjoyed the sleep in breakfast as it got served until 11am/ 12pm. Nice area with lot of things to do and to explore. We enjoyed our getaway.
We stayed there for a day. We had taken 2 rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Since we were a big group, they were accommodating in managing our request. The rooms were clean. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. Would definitely recommend the hotel.Rooms: 5/5
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and kept up nicely. 3 pools to use, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor is nice. Pools were clean and not very busy. The staff was great with the exception of Kelly. Kelly tried to make our stay as uncomfortable as possible, she is condescending and rude to the guests. I recommend dealing with Wendy who was fantastic. Most of the staff as I said were great just make sure you don't deal with Kelly. Would of given 5 stars if we didn't have to deal with Kelly's rudeness and making everything difficult. We will return next year, let's hope Kelly is on vacation that week!!
Friendly staff, decent hotel. For our "Deluxe" room, we were initially put in a tiny, dingy, in-dire-need-of-an-update room where they weren't bothered to give us two actual chairs. It was across from the ice machine, vending machines, and indoor pool, and as such was *very* noisy. We asked for a different room, and they complied without any issues. The new room was newer or had clearly been updated. More spacious, and cleaner and two chairs!. In our trade, we gained cleanliness and space, but lost our outdoor balcony, and our luggage stand there was space for it, but no actual luggage stand. The in-room coffee is undrinkable bad coffee, and not hot. There was one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom ??. Climate control in the rooms is nice. I had been hoping for a bathtub soak, but the "Deluxe" rooms seem to only have a walk-in shower, unfortunately. If you come here, be sure to ask for a "Deluxe" room in the tower, or spring for a suite.
A relaxing hotel close to Blue Mountain Village and all amenities in the area including spas. Comfortable beds and a good sized mini fridge to keep beverages and other goodies. Good accessibility as well for those with a walker or wheelchair. Some rooms on main floor have little balconies. Only thing to add would be a spa tub/whirlpool bath!
The resort was good overall. Our room was ok, bathroom towels smelled of bleach and the tub was semi dirty, it had stains in it, that came out once i cleaned it to take a bath. Restaurant staff was friendly and food was good but not hot temperature wise. Taste was good. Rooms: One Bedroom with a kitchen and fireplace and balcony. Food & drinks: Nice Restaurant within the resort Good food and drinks
I stayed in a ground floor room. The stay was short, just 2 nights but worth it. It was a very quiet and peaceful sleep each time. Everything worked ok. I can't complain about anything!! I was with my adult sub and pre-teen daughter. They too were very pleased. The indoor pool, they loved!!! Staff was nice and readily available to assist when there was a need. Great location!!!
