Got a tow from Shay today she was excellent! Even waited for my ride to get me! Dispatcher was awesome too! Not that it’s fun to have a dead car on inland highway but they sure made it easier for me! These girls rock!! Thanks again!!!nClaire Kirkham
Coastline AKA Georgia Straight Towing wrecked the bumper and opened the sunroof while it was raining. Video proof as it was being towed and they dont give two shits that the car is absolutely soaked inside causing the electrical not to work and the bumper is damaged. Stay clear use other tow companies if you can!!!
I’ve just had an excellent experience with Georgia Straights Towing. We rented a car with EnterPri**, which developed some safety issues, leaving it unusable for my very young family and me to use. Jon from GST turned up with a replacement car, but EnterPri** even though they were told, and more importantly, explicitly agreed sent an unsuitable car that would not fit our luggage and children both only months old. Jon has helped me speak to the car hire company to arrange a replacement. Unfortunately, the car hire’s 24-hour service can’t help until morning… But GST has now driven through the night to be at the branch when it opens tomorrow. They will then drive a proper vehicle back to us hundreds of kilometers so my family isn’t stranded anymore. Great, good old-fashioned service!
Was quoted 150 per hour for our tow with a minimum of 2 hours which is fine and our two less than 1.5 hours which was great so the cost was supposed to come to $300. I was charged $517 and sent no receipt. i called twice asking for the recipe and voiced that i was overcharged, and i was told “well it’s a lot to get a tow” … the lady on the phone was really nice but was not told about all these extra charges that came out of nowhere! still not sure how i got charged over $500 because i still haven’t been sent my receipt… not super happy with this company and the lack of transparency around the charges… seems like they just quote whatever they feel like as they don’t have prices on the website!
Darren needs a raise. Whatever he is getting, it is not enough. He saved me not once, but twice last night. My motorcycle died because I left my lights on while I was at work. I came out late at night to a completely dead motorcycle. Darren came super fast, charged me up and told me to drive for at least 45 minutes. I drove for about 20 but then noticed I needed fuel. I took the chance and stopped for gas, but the bike wouldn't start again. Darren drove passed me at the gas station and noticed me and called me to check in. Like what!?! He actually took the time to call me in the middle of the night to see if I was ok, when he didn't have to. He came by and boosted me a second time so that I could make it home. Even though it was the middle of the night, he was kind, happy and just a genuine great guy. Thank you so much Darren!
