"GEORGETOWN THAI "GOURMET", Formerly known as GEORGETOWN THAI CUISINE, opened in 2006 as the first and only authentic Thai restaurant in Georgetown. It is owned and operated by a local Thai family, who wanted to share the vibrance Thai culture trough the true flavours of Thai food.We offer a wide selection of non-spicy to spicy dishes, made with many family recipes, using traditional Thai ingredients and cooking styles.Our menu led to a "THAI SELECT" Certification awarded by the Government of Thailand. We proudly offered dine-in, take-out in downtown Georgetown for the past 14 years. In October 2019, we moved to a central location of town at 232 Guelph st. We now offer the same great food and service as GEORGETOWN THAI "GOURMET""

Good food, ordered quite a bit a food this time. The pricing on the website is inaccurate so as I was ordering was a bit confused with the number at the end. Food is always decent, but always a bit oily. The shrimp was a bit overcooked this time, but not usually. Tried the black noodles first time- def a new favorite not saucy, just flavourful! Spring rolls are really good- just have to have them hot. Would recommend this place always
We had a pleasant evening dining at the restaurant. Our host/waitress was very kind and sweet during all our interactions. The food tasted great, and we’ll certainly return again to try more! Expected a bit more food portion, but the inflation and pandemic has hit many restaurants unfortunately…
This downtown Georgetown Thai restaurant is one of the most highly regarded restaurants in the area. An incredible experience, all because of the meal. I visited it when the summer season was ended. The staff is amazing since they're kind, happy to interact with the customers, and have a strong love for their jobs. In addition to interesting dishes, the environment will be enhanced. I've personally tested the three menu options. If you're planning on visiting Georgetown and the Surrounding countryside, go now. Everything in the menu is delicious, and the dishes are freshly prepared, even the drinks. Thank you for the great service and wonderful dinner. Special thanks!
Had a wonderful time here today! Definitely one of Georgetown's hidden gems! Spacious indoor dining. Very quiet. Great service. Terrific ambiance. Food was very flavorful and very nutritious/healthy. Excellent presentation of the food. A lot of options for vegetarians. Highly recommend the spring rolls and the khao soi! Will be returning back! *Make sure to bring your COVID-19 vaccine passport and ID!*
This restaurant has changed location but the quality is the same. We had the mixed appetizers, pineapple salad, Khao soi and drunken noodles. My favorite and highly recommended dish is the pineapple salad and drunken noodles. The restaurant is very clean, the staff were sweet and very helpful with the menu. I would definitely come back.
Staff/Service: Super friendly and nice, food came out quick. Food: Not great. Hot and sour soup was lukewarm, it was also too sweet and clear/watery. Chicken satay was over cooked and dry, the marinade had a slight bitter taste, the peanut sauce it came with was too crunchy and weird. ‘Chicken panang’ was called peanut curry and it was terrible, the chicken in the curry was unflavored, the ‘curry’ was more like a gritty paste because it had a lot of peanut bits in it, there were no veggies in it most places will at least throw in a bit to balance the dish, the dish didn’t even come with rice; the rice was charged as a separate side. Also, we both have a stomach ache now. Price: high price for the amount of food you get. Apps were 10-15, but fairly small. The main dish cost over $20 and was enough for one person only.
My daughter and I had an excellent meal here. We especially loved our appetizer, the Thai curry puff. It was sooo delicious!!! Our entrees were the pad thai and the pineapple fried rice. Highly recommended.
I just tried this place for the first time. I am glad to say that I was very happy with the quality of food. Service was quick, professional and pleasant. Portion size met my expectations Food was really tasty. I would definitely recommend to try.
It's okay Thai food. I do wish their "spicy" was actually spicy, but this must be due to the demographics. I end up having to dump a bunch of dry chilli on everything.Food: 4/5
The food is really good. But I was just there and asked for a Thai Iced Tea. I was given this. It’s milk tea. Thai Iced Tea is orange and it’s made differently. It’s hard to explain but they’re not the same. Traditional Thai food my butt The milk tea was good but I also don’t like being lied too. I’m not sure about the other menu items but the “Thai Iced Tea” is a lie
