Not only did I almost get charged for another customers food, but the server actually tried to argue with me about what i had ordered! Thank god i had my receipt. My order was also wrong. I asked for no green pepper or onions and that was clearly ignored. On top of that, they charge a 15% fee because people don't tip. I see why. If I could give it a negative score, I would. Threw it in the trash and ate the semi acceptable toast. I'll be going to McDonald's from now on.
The service was nice. Kind and friendly. My French toast could’ve been cooked a bit longersoggy in the middle but everything else was what it was suppose to be. Classic basic taste of all American Breakfast.
My denver omelet was prepared very good but very skimpy What turned me off was my waitress she decided my order was to go. When my food arrived I took it out the bag to eat it. Once she saw I was staying I felt she could have offered a napkin and something to drink. But she did not. I was also disappointed in this sign. A 15 percent service is added to protect our employees income. That fine but she should not forced me to get my food to go for the 15% tip. Little did she know her tip would have been larger then 1.59. I am just wondering why she treated me like this. Something I will never know.
If I could rate this place a 0 I would definitely. My friends and I like to get food after going out. We went on Friday around 2:00 AM. Everything was fine we ordered our food. But the workers told us it was only takeout. We got our food but the last person who ordered was missing her food. One lady working was claiming that we stole one of our friends food so we could save money. Which is not true each one of us ordered separately at counter. And all of us were charged our own meals. Lady was very aggressive and she was getting her bag & jacket. Started saying many inappropriate words to my friend & all of us in general. They were calling us broke too, but we did not care about the money. We offered to pay again if they wanted us to. But this man that was working finally ended up making her food. The woman that was working was very rude & unprofessional. Not a good experience & have to show their workers to have a good customer & corporation relationship. Because at the end of the day consumers are supporting the business. Thank you
Just do yourself a favor and don't go here. There's a 24 hour McDonald's right over on North Ave and you're much better off. Really have go idea how this place is still open. They never seem to be "serving food" when I come inside to try and order some, but if course they let me sit there for 30 minutes before letting me know. Don't know if that's a program the employees came up with so they don't have to do anything at 5am. Seems like closing would be a better way to not serve food.
On Monday, January 2nd 2022 1:40 P.M. we attempted to dine-in to no use as the waitress explained that during shift change the restaurant is closed until 2 P.M. George Webbs needs to change its long-standing tradition -open 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds, seven days a week and on Sundays to reflect this change.
I love George webbs I've been going to George Webb's since I was 12 years old and I'm 59 now I always get my usual to double cheeseburgers a bowl of chili with cheese and a soda I just wish the prices will come down I go to the one on Oakland avenue
A good place for breakfast food and good customer service on day and night shift but at night their a few things that they need to work on like making sure customers get there full order before they leave the restaurant because I was on my way to work and I ordered the seven cheeseburgers with the two fries and I didn't receive my fries. Also I don't understand how a restaurant charge a 15% service fee on carry out orders to help with the income of the employees and then ask for tip when you're paying with card can someone please explain to me why this happens.
Started out with 1 employee and he worked really hard to accommodate what he could and made sure everyone was aware he didn't have help. 2 others showed and things got moving fast. Very good effort on his part having to deal with a crowd and run things alone.Food: 3/5
Completely messed my order up. I asked for crispy bacon, over medium eggs and crispy hash browns. I got over cooked eggs and under cooked hash browns and bacon. I will not be ordering from them again
