Small but all the basics with good meat and dairy selections. A real gem in that Ellen, owner and third generation of homesteaders, knows the history of the town and everyone in it. As a member of first responders emergency, she is the primary health guide for the community as well as a key supporter of all things civic. This store is the heart of Montrose Community and staffed by friendly and helpful community members. A classic reminder of the general stores of the past. Open seven days a week but limited hours on weekends.
